OMG I am so frustrated with these damn forums.
I love browsing the forums and answering questions when I can, and even getting into the odd debate here and there.
HOWEVER, lately (for over a week or two at least) these stupid page load errors are driving me insane.
It makes using the forums nearly impossible.
I have reported it numerous times and they keep telling me it must be my ISP, however... I am not the only one experiencing this!
Are we all using the same damn ISP?????
So, if you suddenly notice I am not replying to threads or posting anymore, ya know why.
It is not because I quietly left, it is because I slammed my fist on the desk, agressively closed the damn forums, and stomped away.
GRRR and blech!
FIX THEM!!
PS I know some lindens read here, come on guys fix this, please!

They are not slightest bit interested in it because they are not slightest bit interested in providing a good service, as long as there are enough paying users to make LL profitable.. They know it's not your ISP.
I've started to wonder if they've deliberately thrown a spanner in the works, just to make forum users so dissatisfied that they won't be too bothered when they close it. _____________________

the forums take longer to load than any site i can remember..
i know it's not my ISP..the forums have been lagging going on 3 weeks now i can get to the site really fast but when you hit community it takes a while then the forum link ..well may as well go make some tea or something.. i'm feeling it has something to do with xstreet.. it wasn't long after that the forums started to lag like molasses in the winter time. late at night it seems fine when sl loggins are down in the 50's..still a little buggy but way better than the day time _____________________

The forum's been loading slow for me but no page errors other than the ones you get if you put s e l e c t followed by f r o m with no spaces.
I have two machines running FF3.1b2, on one the new blog seems to work, to the extent that it does work, and on the other, I get a error, can't access the new blog at all. I went through the FF options I could think of and set them all the same. I don't have any idea why it would work on one and not the other. That new blog, sigh, when you do a Google search for something that produces an old blog post in the results, clicking on the link takes you to the wrong blog post, or to a page not found. You can find the old post in the Google cache. _____________________

Delete all your forum cookies. at the risk of looking stupid how do I delete cookies associated with just this forum. (there are some cookies to other sites I would rather not delete for numerous reasons) _____________________

In FF it's in Tools, Options, Privacy, then Show Cookies. Search for forum and delete the forum cookies - it works for me but if things go funny I have to do it again.

LOL edited to say thank you again I deleted the cookies that were for the second life forums and now they do seem to load a lot quicker I would suggest to anyone that is experiencing this problem to do the same thing. (on the other hand, what the heck are all those cookies in there, omg, a ton of them) I think I might bite the bullet and just clean out the entire lot. (some could be nasty stuff, so probably better to be safe) who would have thought it was cookies... _____________________
