And is this a bad thing? BTW, my apologies to all I met the other night on my first outing to the sim. When I left, I was having issues with my computer, and I think it appeared like I just left without saying goodbye. Such poor manners on my part, but alas, not much could be done about it at the time. Do you really think anyone in this group would notice poor manners? _____________________

Um, is there a reason the clouds above the hangout are solid? I was flying back after crashing a hang glider (oops) and had to wander around up there for a while trying to find a way down.

Um, is there a reason the clouds above the hangout are solid? I was flying back after crashing a hang glider (oops) and had to wander around up there for a while trying to find a way down. At first I thought you meant the giant "sky" screen, but it sounds like you mean some big horizontal surface? I can at least say I didn't notice it last night when I cowabunga'd from the skybox dressing room down into the water. Is it above the dressing room? ETA: Went to look for the solid clouds, but found no obstruction above the hangout. Well, unless you count Marty's banana.  _____________________

Weird...maybe I got a bit to one side and was actually over one of the neighbor's? My beacon from tping in was pretty close though. I took a pic of myself standing around up there, so I know I didn't hallucinate it. lol _____________________

There was a pretty good Sunday morning crowd yesterday and a nice group at around 9:00-midnight last night. That's PST, which I think is equivalent to SLT. OK...Attention Please. Is this thing On? We have a winner in the Name the Penguin Contest.......Before proceeding just to fill you in, we decided to have a runner up position with a prize of $500L and a Grand Prize of $2000. Chris had to excuse himself from voting due to a Conflict of Interest. so the always available Cherry volunteered to fill in. So....*Drum Roll*........ I didn't think to check if it was phantom, but if it wasn't, the collision something-or-other would have been in the original cylinder shape (not the shape of the sculpty banana). The end result would be you walking around on a surface you couldn't see, with a giant banana somewhere in the clouds below you. HEY MARTY!!! Can you please check to make sure your giant flying banana is set to phantom?  |
