Have been leaving pies out on an end table in the back room of the hangout; will check later, but I think they're full perms, and I'll be changing the flavors regularly. At the moment, it's chocolate pie. Mmmmm!
They are no mod. But I have talked the creator into providing a full perm copy, and created the first prototype of the pie thrower. It works. I handed it to a couple people in the hangout. Before I complete it, I want to make it so that the pie slices emit particles on impact. I'm asking for help from a friend for this part.

I haven't really been following these threads - is there a defined way to contribute to this area?

Had a friend add her floaty rezzer (which, IMO, is pretty fun) at the end of the dock. Hope that's okay to do.. :)

Right now, the group is OK as far as tier and monetary donations go I think. Drop by and take a look at the place, hang out and enjoy yourself. That's the best contribution you can make right now.

:) Thanks! Did stop by this weekend to look around some - nice place!

The question was more about product donation.. She put it down this weekend but we weren't sure if it was ok to just add things or who to ask about it. Whoever, if anybody, is in charge there should feel free to return it if they don't like it or return it and ask for a copy if they want to mod it..

Object placement is pretty liberal, as long as it doesn't start cluttring the place. Chris and Marty are in charge of buildings and grounds for the most part, if you have any questions. give them a shout.

That sounds like work. I'll just do nothing and see if they yell at her. :)

TY!

We are pretty loose about placement. If it is something for the group we do tend to leave it out unless it is just a prim hog. Vanity objects we do usually return the next day or so.

Chris, could you or Marty do something about the massive screen behind the trees? At the very least, make the backside transparent so we stop griefing the neighbors? (This has come up before, but it was still there as of yesterday.)

Also, there is one tree standing out from the rest of the line (under the giant sky screen). It's out of place, it's full bright, and it gives some weird alpha sorting nasties. Could that one tree please go away? :(

Thanks. :) </nag>

I will see what I can do with them Will depend on the permissions the screens have. We might have to switch them out or something.

The forum hangout is really cool.

I spent a couple of hours there last night watching two people play a board game, all of which I always walked right by in SL thinking they were boring. Malachi helped me configure & test voice while they played. (after which i had the same experience as most, now what?? turn voice off). I figured out how to play the game and then sorted some textures while watching and listening. It was like a night spent sitting around your living room with a couple of friends, and was really calming and pleasant.

And the blinking Harley-Davidson neon on the wall made it feel just like a pub. Thanks, Salvador!

This is exactly, to the letter, what we envisioned with this project. I tried to stop by last night, but when I was there, the sim was down. Stupid rolling restart. It took me 45 minutes to get a clean log-in.

This does remind me, though, that I have a set of swings in my inventory that I haven't done anything with. Great swings.
