There is a playground area? Yes, there is a children's playground down next to the water, next to the line of trees. Funny story: While chatting around the fire, I mentioned the playground, and someone sitting with us (who apparently was not a forum reader, but just a wandering visitor) asked "Does the playground support alternative lifestyles?" I suppose there is an innocent interpretation of that question, but I was just thinking "Dude, it's not THAT kind of playground!"  |

That HAS to violate some sort of safety rule. You can't even have a swimming pool without a fence around it. What if one of the kids drowns!!?? Holy smokes! Think of the liability. We'll never get insurance now. _____________________

lol, my job's content filter is cracking me up. Someone finally added Second Life and its sites to the list, so I can no longer sneak on at work, check the blog, or go to www.secondlife.com. I CAN access the forums and, if I use a pre-existing 'secure' bookmark, I can still get to the main site.
Hopefully no one gets wise...what will I do if I can't spend my work day here?  _____________________

I know my springy aminal has remained in the playground area still. Mari Cool! What animal is it? *flips through recipe file* . Just make sure anybody near the water has a floatation device. You can get them on the end of the dock. Are hedgehogs and flotation devices a good idea? |

Last week I found that the forums and the main site had made it onto the non-approved list. Then they quickly came off. I think someone in control of the list didn't like seeing SL on the list. Well, I work for a school district...most of the stuff that gets filtered is because of the kids. I don't see SL coming back off the list. *sigh* _____________________

Well, I work for a school district...most of the stuff that gets filtered is because of the kids. I don't see SL coming back off the list. *sigh* And I work indirectly for the government, as in I use government computers but do not get paid by the government. There is a simple word I could have used, but I didn't want to associate that word with me (and no, nothing illegal). _____________________
