Just the fear of it sent me into a state of shock. I've had nightmares of swimming upstream and being scooped up by large furry trout.

For those who have not yet visited the hangout - get down there as soon as you can! It's really nice - the people are awesome - and even the music stream rocks! I was made to feel quite welcome (thanks Oryx!) and have added it to my regular "to-do" list in SL. :)

Last I heard we were talking about someone (was it Sobri?) helping to set up a shoutcast so that we can take turns playing DJ if we want. Does anyone know what programs work with Windows XP versions of iTunes?

The impromtu get togethers are really turning into a lot of fun. It seems like there is almost always someone there to hang out with, and the setting is perfect for a couple people to just hang out and shoot the breeze.

Now, for the important question of the day. I was there the other night and noticed on the minimap that there were a couple green tees right on each other directly where the changing room is. So, fess up! Who was getting it on in the changing room? Come on. Spill.

I've been trying to following all these threads, to no avail.

Is everyone welcome at the "hangout", or did you have to pitch in somehow to belong? I'm totally confused as I'm late to the forum here, and the threads got so incredibly long that it was very difficult to follow; let alone, being such a newbie, and having little to contribute in skills for certain. All I have is my charm, some occassional spare time to work (if needed), and some meager $L to throw your way :-)

Thanks Oryx :-) I've been working part time lately, after nearly 20 years at the same job so SL has been a nice retreat for me. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone here, putting a "face" to all the wonderful advice I've been receiving and getting to know all of you a lot better! It's a lot better than doing the housework...(dust bunnies be damned, I've grown to fond of furries to demand they leave!)
