People just leave banlines up blocking our freedom to explore.

Your "freedom to explore" is trumped by my "freedom to keep your sorry @$$ off my land."

friendliness of course! usually people in SL will come back to a shop just by how they were treated. so say hi! :D

Oh, yes! I was admiring the handpainted t-shirts in one shop when the owner came up and engaged me in conversation. I was not in a real friendly mood, but he managed to thaw me out. In addition, he was nice enough to give me a second shirt free after I'd bought one and was on my way out the door.

Word of mouth is one of the most important factors when it comes to getting your name out there (in a positive light). That's why customer relations is key key key.

Which sushi joint would you go back to...the one that just takes your order, serves you, and says goodbye...or the chef that cuts up small samples as you are dining, and has you try them. Making light conversation. Being friendly and attentive without being annoying...it's a no-brainer.

Yuck! But that's true. If quality of the product is equal, then Service can be the deciding factor, even winning over a better quality product.

LOL

I was going to say something on the lines of; OK, if I park my truck right opposite your drive and walk away, so you have to spend ten minutes back and forth getting out of your drive, wouldn't you be just a little bit pi**ed? ...

... but back to SL, I got a better one: If you're not home, what's it matter? What are you hiding?

Umm, maybe it's none of your damn business what he's hiding? Or whether he's hiding anything?

And since we're asking provocative questions, why are you so anxious about being able to spy on your SL neighbors and rummage around in their houses?
