Survey about sexual harassment. Help!!!

I'm doing a survey on Sexual harassment of female Avatars in second-life. If you have this kind of experiences, could you please share your stories with me. It will really help me. You can tell me the following things:
Gender Harassment:
Told offensive jokes
Made offensive sexual remarks
Made remarks about your body or sexual activities
Displayed or distributed sexist materials
Made sexist remarks
Publish pictures, videos and movies online

Unwanted sexual attention:
Attempted to discuss sexual matters
Gave unwanted sexual attention
Attempted to establish a romantic or sexual relationship
Continued to ask for dates, drinks, touching
Impose sex-related sounds or images on a message

Sexual coercion:
Trailing your records
Sexual insinuations
Bribes and seductions to achieve sexual aims

The purpose of doing this survey is for my dissertation. Thanks for all who rely to my thread. Thans a lot.

ignore and mute = no harrassment.

Mute and a tp will solve most if not all of these.

But why are you only asking about female avatars? Do males not get harassed?

I'm male, and none of the listed things ever happen to me--which is disappointing, but I'm not sure it's harassment.

Nothing about male avatars? I've had a fair bit of it dished my way!

Some of those IM's, were they to be copied here, would be enough to turn the forum backround pink. I can't be alone in this either; I've heard of a few other, ah, rather predatory instances happen to other guys too.

It must be my really cool avatar, I can think of no other reason...

Oh, I get it all the time. But then I am the best looking male in SL.

I was camping last night and this Noob comes up to me (2 days old) and says "wannafck?" Took me a bit to figure out what he was asking but in the end, I have this gross shape of a huge and unattractive female. I put it on and said "sure, you want me to go on top?" His response was "your a dude" and walked away. I love that shape!!

Me too, had a few harassing experiences. As for an avatar being just a few weeks old and asking about sexual harassment inworld. Do we really need yet another scathing press report about the sexuality of Secondlife? I smell another one sided newspaper acticle in the works.

Seriously, who doesn't get harassed this day and age? I mean, look in your email spam box: How many "Enlarge x here today?" and "I wanna fck" and "Cum see my page." do you see there?

I admit the dragon form does tend to stop unwanted advances when in public areas. Something about a lightening breathing, human munching, creature that's huge to bowl over the masses or panic them into a stampede.

Also, if it happens on my own land, said 'admirer' winds up a pretty ugly statue and dressed up for my amusement.

OK, OP ... if you want filth, offer a return in kind. Will you tell us stories about intentional deception and censorship in academia, or the pop press? Show good faith by offering a little bit of what you ask of us, stranger. Maybe then someone may trust you - just a little - maybe.

Hence even more disturbing. Just realize that it's pretty well known that about half of the 'females' in world are really guys. Not really a secret, but since you are new this may be a bit shocking. As for harassing women, I am as gay as a purse full 'o' rainbows, sorry.
