From: Ghosty Kips OK, I'm not sure if this is a new phenominon or not because I haven't been around since whenever, but it seems I'm a magnet for these new avas who are coming into SL for the sex.
I mean, really new. People who can't even handle their inventory yet.
A few days ago, I'm hanging out at Help Island Public like a good lad, making myself available to help the occasional newbie. This female ava comes over and - LOL! - hops in my lap. OK, it's funny and we have a laugh. We talk and yes, she's pretty darn new alright. She wants to see what else is out there in the way of art, so I take her to Serenite - low lag, very pretty, etc.
After a few minutes of walking around, she suddenly says "Hey, is this a mature area?" I reply that, yes, it is. "OK, let's f***!", and off come the clothes. (Not a poseball in sight, mind you.)
After I get done laughing, I inform her that this isn't (a) cool, (b) appropriate or (c) possible, let alone the fact I'm not interested. Off she goes in a huff (after several moments trying to figure out how to get things back on again), and I head back to Help Island for another contestant.
Yesterday, same thing. I go to Help Island, female ava comes over wiht a question, I help her wiht a couple of things, she wants to see something city-ish. I take her to Washington Square Park - and oh, hey, wanna have sex? Gaaaa ...
I'll leave the floor open on this one. I can't be the only one with stories like this. IT'S A BLOKE DOPE

Gee, the only thing like that I ever got was a newbie gal that hovered in the air just out of draw distance. I believe she wasn't a bot because she followed me when I walked to a different parcel. She was probably just as introverted and reclusive as I am, and that was our version of a hot night.

When I used to hang out at one of the infohubs one of the girls there used to accept any sex offers, TP out and send them a TP, where they would find her in a black leather domnination outfit and finding an inventory offer of Lockmeisters they were ordered to wear, then ordered to get onto one of the Dollcette furniture items in the BDSM dungeon they found themselves in

I really am hanging out in the wrong places. I'm lucky if I can get a dance. WTF is going on in SL when I'm not paying attention!?
I'm an apprentice mentor, and I haven't been able to take that class yet, because it's either in the middle of my workday or 3:00 in the morning. If you live on the West Coast, you're pretty much screwed. I figured the class was about how to look stuff up on the wiki and direct newbies to the right sources of info. Now I'm thinking the class is all about how to sexually exploit newbies. Geez! If only I had known, I would have skipped work or stayed up all night! This is gonna be GREAT!!!

I went to Help Island and stood about. All quiet, apart from one girl saying "Hi" to anything that moved and being ignored, and a bloke shouting "EVERYBODY DANCE NOW" at 10 second intervals.
So I stand there, waiting to see what happens. Some guy with a bald head and eyes of two different colours, resplendent in a white creased jacket and no shoes (don't mock, he was only born yesterday), IM's me.
Him - Hi
Me - Hello
Him - How are you?
Me - Fine thanks, and you?
Him - Good. Where are you from?
(not bad, RL questions at the 3rd IM)
Me - I have a house in ****** (picking sim name at random)
Yeah, like I'm going to take him to my house on the first IM!!
Long pause follows. Very long pause. The IM window flashes, says he's typing, then he's not, then he is, then he's not. Long pause goes on, obviously he's struggling with this.
Him - Do you have coffee there or something to drink?
Did I get hit on???

Did I get hit on??? You should have offered him a glass of strychnine. Maybe he was just thirsty? lol - this guy is a regular Casanova. He invited himself over for coffee. Maybe he'll get better as time goes on and he gets some practice socializing with others. In my opinion, the answer is yes. You got hit on. Granted, it was a pretty poor effort, but nevertheless, you have to give him points for taking a swing. Please tell me you were at least nice to him. The poor guy tried so hard.
