Haterade in Sl, anyone just outright snap at you?

Perhaps I should have phrased it differently. It's not specifically antisocial, but rather people who need structure to their interactions.

For example, introverts can be very social within a small group of friends. But they'll rarely make new friends in unstructured environments, like parties. They're more likely to find friends in clubs (in the sense of a chess club or science fiction club, not a night club).

^ Me in a nut shell.

Being autistic and possibly AADD, focusing is something I have trouble with. And since SL is, for the moment, the only means I have of making an income, it's pretty important that I focus. I also find social interaction stressful even on good days, so I minimize negative effects as much as possible by working in a skybox on private land. I really don't think it's too much to ask to expect most people to assume a skybox with green dots is going to be private. That doesn't mean I think it's ok to be nasty to those who do drop in, mind you. I've never snapped at anyone for just dropping in.

Oh, I soooo agree with ya, even though I c'n hardly throw stones (I've got a great animation f'r doin' it, though). "Ikklespeak" drives me nuts! Heck, half th' time I can;'t even read it!

Yeah, you guys gotta point there. At first I thought I could keep up by just ignoring all the "w"s (they're really kinda just thrown in there at random mostly), but sometimes I have trouble even then.

Sorry for your bad experience. I had some Haterade thrown at me some time back but it was from someone that I thought was cool.

As for now, I knida go where I please with no problems. Maybe it is because I am an angel with a blade to her back, Uzi at her thigh and a Vampire BF that has a smile and snarl that look the same. : )

If you really wanna have fun.... Try reading it out loud. I'm not even sure my mouth works for half those 'wubby' words. (^_^)y

BTW... I even spent a few hours in Waterhead... Nuthin' (=_=)

I guess so many people think I'm a griefer-alt, /b/tard, W-hat, PN... whatever.... that they consider me best left alone. (=_=)

No haterade that I know of, but one time I innocently walked up to an avatar, said hello and he (or so he looked) screamed "Get the hell away from me!"

I've seen the usual nonsense of people ragging on furries and what not, but as far as personally, al I've heard is the occasional rant from some Neo Socialist Blowhard who finds out I'm American and decides he wants to practice his talk radio skills. Not worth the time. One did make me chuckle when he came into the Blarney Stone railing on everyone who had an Irish Name who wasn't in Ireland as being too ashamed to admit being American. He was set on fire by someone fairly quickly.

lol - tell him you're invading his homeland, then orbit him and move onto his property. Set up a democracy and hold elections before he logs back in.

I visited Waterhead in my giant bee disguise once a little while ago. I heard some lady on voice cooing "awww, look at the beeeee!" but that was it.

No, that's not true. Once a long time ago when I was still in my newbiesuit, I visited Waterhead. Someone came up to me real close, and suddenly I was on the far edge of the sim. Hater!
