I spend 2 hours a day in SL....it was almost down to nothing until I met someone I could spend that time with, enjoying everything SL has to offer.

Now, the 2 hours every night is spent with her....it's not enough, but all I can give because of RL.

Oh, and to the two girls who are cat fighting: knock it off. i personally couldn't care less about how you feel about each other. IMHO, both of you have problems. I'd be willing to be the one to give you both a good swift kick in the ass to put your brains back in the proper place. Grow up.

Whatever, she came in the thread trolling, and I'm not going to take a abuse from someone for a dead relationship 5+ years old., we are talking over 1500 days old crap and its rather tiresome to have someone taking pot shots for years old history in a public forum. You just don't come in a thread make some snarky rude remarks as if you have a leg to stand on without having your position discredited by your history.

And there are plenty of readers here who were there to witness, so try not speaking for 'everyone'.

Any perusal of Angel's posting history reveals volumes.

Use your ignore if you are really feeling so burdened by having to skip over the post, but labeling me troll is hardly appropriate when what you are doing is expanding the scope of conflict.

I am relatively new at this. How do I do ignore without missing the rest of the thread?

Go to "Ignore List" on the left side near the bottom.

read it in context briana, it's not as in real troll, it's in the context of the thread/topic. You both have made many out of scope comments in regard of the topic (in vendetta style), cause it's a personal/private matter that's been played into the public unwanted. That's the point.
And you both have said things to eachother, that makes the individual points clear.
for what i read, I merely see a repetition of arguments instead of solving it.
It's actually a form of polution of the thread, with slander and "bitch" fighting against eachother (that isn't doing good in terms of solving and theme).
You yourself said something about ignore a few posts back. Why don't you do it then?
Feeding oil to a burning plate will only give more ignition to the battle. Why not standing above it? People here already know, that the two of you disagree on visions clearly. And can filter it out.

I personally don't know either of you, nor can i judge about the history, both have conflicting stories on that subject.
So, why drag others into this fight, while it's not the SUBJECT of this thread. And with all the consequences along with it.
Be wise, both.. and get it outside this thread.. go fight where it belongs (new thread, inworld, with the people that are (in)directly involved in it, and try to solve it.)

I understand how things can feel, but sometimes if the other doesn't want to budge, it's best to leave it alone. The more one reacts to the advances of the other, the more the other feels right in her/his visions. Just like with griefers, you can reason all you want with them, but eventually it doesn't solve anything, if the other isn't in for it. Better leave it alone, and get over it. Or take good measures, within the scope of authority. But keep yourself in respect, don't lure yourself towards a level you don't wanna be in.

So therefore, both of you, settle down, and solve this (in a good manner) or be done with it

We all go through phases, Ive gone from 8 back to 1, at one stage when I started it was 12 or more hours even with a marathon 48hour session, taking sick leave from work to play SL, but it wore off. That was 2 years ago, whether long hours in front of a computer monitor till 3am back then has any cause in my recent loss of vision from Glaucoma, I don;t know but look after your eyes people, you miss them when you suddenly hsve vision of wearing too dark sunglasses due to nerve damage at only 40 that will never regrow, get you eyes checked if indoubt.

Prior to SL, I spent my online time on either IRC or EQ. Both were entertaining in their way, but neither provided for the creativeness that I've found in SL *plus* being a "chatroom" if I choose to visit with friends.

Via SL I've learned to use Gimp (yes I know I could have learned other ways but I'm a classroom type of person), learned to build, began a small business, thus learning how to be an entrepreneur and other skills that are not available in either of the above venues.

Addicted? Me??? Absolutely not! I do not consider spending 8 or more hours a day on SL to be a sign of addiction!

Of course, there are those horrible twinges I get whenever logins fail...
