The charity has begun building office space, meeting rooms and an auditorium in the virtual world.
It will also build a farm and aquarium to educate users on animal causes. WSPA will also hold a concert in Second Life, with virtual musicians.
The work is being created by developers Depo Consulting but is also being opened up to Second Life developers to take part.
Users will be able to create their own items for the virtual world such as sheep for the farm; the best will be included in WSPA's areas. Obvious this will highten Furry tensions. My question is, how many boinkalbe sheep will be submitted for inclusion?

It /might/ have something to do with "Zoos"...
Just because there is an animal involved does not mean it's "Furry", geese...

Okay, I'm done laughing at the articles *snickers* Mostly....
*ahem*
Either way, it's the same. If WSPA comes in and promotes awareness by making a zoo and aquarium and hands out ntoecards and tours and stuff like that, more power to them.
If they descriminate on anyone in SL, Furries, dog owners, Nekos, and yes, even those Unicorn lovers, then they can go out the same door they came in.
However, aftera brief look at their organization and past history, I do not see this group as the "fire and brimstone" type like those idiots at PETA. This group looks more toward showing people how great and kewl animals can be. Seeing nature as the wondrous thing it is.
I hope they do well.

I dont have any problems with it, I am an animal lover so no problems thats why I became a furry, humans are too politically and religious actions you question about boinkable sheep perplexes me and doesnt appear to have anything to do with th article posting.

why does this thread suddenly want me to go rip heads off of prim animals at their front doorsteps?
I'm actualy a pet lover and i get hysterical if someone tries to kill a bug instead of putting it outside.. but for some reason their presence makes me want to change my ways for their benefit..

As far as I can tell, they seem to be a lot more sane than PETA.
That said, if they start lobbying against hunting or eating meat, screw 'em.
