Hehe, done quite a few of these myself, but honestly the worst is when i am cleaning and I really, really want to 'take' it all and sort through it later.

when you think your cat might be a furry ?

When you hear someone say your avatar's name and you turn and look.

When you start to move your hands like you are typing, when you are speaking to someone in person.

i said this on a blog post and ill say it again:

Your BFF calls to invite you to lunch and you wait for her to tp you
you ask the salesperson at searns how many prims is the bed you are looking to buy.
when asked what you do for a living, you actually answer with what you do in SL
You think in terms of lindens instead of USD while writing the checks for bills.

You find yourself standing the same way your AO does to your Avi.

as long as it istn that tippie toe stand - that one makes me look SO short next to you

I hate that one too...I gotta shop for some new animations..

.. when your partner wakes you up and you, still kinda sleeping, scroll your mind to find a gesture to reply to him...

You wonder if the item out on your neighbor's land is copyable.

You look at everything and wonder if it will make a good texture and you even buy things at the car boot sale so you can take a photograph and then put it in the bin.

When you keep telling people that you just can't find the clothes you want in the local mall cause nothing in town looks as good as what you find in SL.

Been there...& when I change my AO, after about 2 days my RL stands change too, LOL

... When shopping in a really nice retail development, you think, "This is nice, I need to open a shop here. I wonder how much the rent is."

Did this when visiting Atlanta, and friends and I went shopping at the Edgewood Retail District. It's one of those new urban developments that brings back sidwalks and street-front shops, rather than a huge parking lot across which is a boring blue and gray store.

... when you log in, despite the grid issues, only to stand in one place for hours at a time, unable to do a (censored) thing, because you just can't stay out of SL.

when you spend an extra hour in the home improvment store locking at sheetrock and lumber, wondering if they have it in a "mod, copy, no tranfer" instead of "mod, tranfer, no copy"

When you dream about your sl partner and it wakes your rl husband up.

ever since i joined SL in march, ive many times wanted to ALT-ZOOM mouselook around in real life and on 2d webpages, it just seems like something i SHOULD be able to do when not in game it's wierd

i have had COUNTLESS nite dreaming in total SL


Why does TIME go so fast in SL and so slow on the 60 miles drive to work everyday....

i have been reading these posts .. and chuckling like the rest of you .. and it finally happened to me.

i was on my way to work and saw a sign posted on an empty lot: "2 parcels for sale".

my very first thought: "512s? 1024s?".

i had to laugh out loud

I was in a rl clothing store this weekend and there were outfits on display together with some paper bags with the store logo for decoration purposes. I actually wondered if there were freebies in the bags...

... or you're walking past Thomas Cooke and look down their exchange rate annunciator looking for lindens

You finally call a professional gardener to come clean up 2 yrs. of overgrowth and leaves...and he takes one look...jaw drops...and he asks: "Senora?!?!? What happened here?!?!?"
