How much land have you got?

OK, nobody has to answer this! But I thought it might be interesting to share info on how much land we have and what we use it for.

I have 2464 sq. metres, split between 2 roadside sites in neighbouring sims. One site is my home (the Egotherapy Centre) which is also a shop, gallery, garden and a little green alleyway so people living behind can walk through to the lumpy future Linden highway. I also have a platform 600m up, where I can build stuff in peace.

The other site has is really just investment land as I picked it up cheap and hope to sell it again (as a single parcel, not ad lots!)

The aim is to have 2536 sq. metres in my home sim. I did have a bit more land than this but RL agent has put foot down and limited me.

One full mainland sim, plus the occasional small plot I can buy with my bonus tier for having the sim deeded to a group. Those are for resale. Currently not holding any of those, so I have 6400 in tier going to waste.

Just tiered down from 3232m to 1120m. I couldn't justify what I'd been spending on a hobby, and VAT, even though it was very little extra, just drove the point home. I've now got enough for a bit of space to chill with friends, do a little building, unpack boxes and flee to in emergencies.

Around 7k, all in group land. Looking to buy more in Papa, if it's reasonably priced. (notes the parcel for sale for 1 million L$)

4096m. I'm not sure why. I have a skybox I've been trying to make perfect and a mini-Stonehenge garden on the land below.

It may just be high tech doll house.

I have 4096 on an island for my home and 16,384 on mainland for my business.

I have 10,240 M2 in a private, off-the-map sim for my home (where many others in my household also reside), plus 2048 M2 of double-prim commercial land in a private sim, where I have a store and a business office.

I have a 4096 plot on an island peninsula. Maybe someday I'll actually do something with it. I don't even have a house on it at this point

16,000 or thereabouts; the tier is tolerable and I can try to claim it back as a business expense, though not if Mr TaxNerd comes and tries to figure out what the land is actually FOR since I've not done anything rational with it whatsoever. Can't settle on a single idea and whenever I have building time (like today),l 'm interrupted, or SL crashes...

I have 2560 m2 of mainland in Blackmount (started off with 256 m2 way back in February, then moved around in the same sim and ended up buying several 512 m2 plots)- Blackmount kind of is like my home in SL. I have a house and garden there, a meeting place for group meetings, and a little shop of stuff I made for myself that I decided to offer to other people, too.
Blackmount is on the Southern continent and pretty much in the middle of it, so no sea. So recently, Raynor and I decided to rent property somewhere else, too- we both love the Arab lifestyle, so we decided to rent a house in Durrat al Ghawwas (a privately owned sim) - no idea about the size, it's pretty large with garden and everything, but it cam with 234 prims

And my alt, Rhian, decided to go premium recently (mind of her own, that one-it's quite scary!) and bought herself a 1024 m2 island in Valeyard. Having Linden water around your plot is fun! (And yeah, one of the reasons for this plot was the name. Any Doctor Who fans from the 1980s around here? )

Personally I have a 2048 on a mountaintop with a really nice house I never spend any time in lol.

Businesswise, I own 6 mainland regions now (just bought the 6th this morning and kinda proud of that =) All 6 are fully themed & developed rental communities with not an ad farm anywhere on them. I Manage 9 other regions for other land owners as rentals. All full regions developed by me. No ad farms, 1 cub max per region.

So total I guess I have 15 regions now. Well 14 regions and 1 island sim. =) And I pay just over $1100 a month in USD in tier. More than my RL rent lol.

Roughly 3000 sqm for the group, which serves as home and shop in the mainland areas. *shrugs* I'm nuts.. i know.

Same as I was gonna say. More than I need, not as much as I want.

29888 sq. m. of mainland - mostly for business, a small amount for rental, but the beach and skating rink are open to the public.

I only own 512m and I am still telling myself that is all I will ever have, because I can't justify paying tier. However, I have managed to set it up quite nicely with the help of rezz boxes to work around the prim limit.

Renting 4096 sq m, where I put a castle. I have thing for big rooms, where the camera can swing freely without running through walls.

I have 3137 sq m, all in one sim for prim usage.

i use my original 2048m plot for my Home and 'Virtual Portfolio' for my business. I've built it up to three stories (Four if you count the deck on the roof), with space enough for me, my Mistress, my 2 sisters, and my brother. Under part of the house is a nice little garden.

Then my second plot, 512 m, I bought purely for the prims a little while back, and it isnt attached to my other land. It is completely empty, and noone can build or anything there, let alone enter (Its in the middle of an ad-farm so I didn't feel bad restricting access)

The third and cheapest plot is 576m. bought it from a neighbour for 79 L$ cause they couldn't seem to sell it in the time they wanted to. It's got a small waterfall garden on it, with palm trees, two waterfalls (One of which i built myself completely), and a little hut with free drinks.

Altogether I think I've done quite well, and hope to buy an additional 1024m or so whenever I find one nearby, or can get a neighbour to sell. (one of my neighbours has been out of game for 2 months.. I want their land lol)

I deeded it all to group, so only uses 2852m of tier.

65-75K sqm it varies between the 2

just under 4096. commercial currently. but, changes back and forth from residential to commercial regularly. LOL

I have 1536 on the mainland. I think it is a nice size, I have lots of prims and a nice sized yard, since my house is in the air.

I live on 4096 in a New England themed sim. I have a quaint little cottage on a hill, space for a small dock where my little boat lives. A sky platform above for building.

My shop is on a bit smaller parcel, can't recall right now the dimensions - it's the next size down.

I have 3/4096 plots on a private island.....all water front, side by side. I love it.....since the sim was purchased my tier has gone down which is even better. I use one for my shop and the other two for homes.....I'm always coming up with new design concepts (not to build, but to put together with things I see that inspire me)

I'm here for fun...and I'd love to own a sim but I am doing only what I can comfortably justify as mad money or entertainment. .. for now LOL

Between my alt and I, we own a 4608 plot on Nautilus which is purely residential. I have 2 houses on there, plus trees, flowers and waterfalls. Then, theres a 1024 Plot on Corsica which has my little store, and I hope to also add a yard sale area very soon. But I'm at my limit now. I didn't even originally want this much, but I'm addicted to prims.
