my skin is so photorealistic that i would be considered adult even if i am clothed, i guess i have to move in with the rapists and murderers

as I understand it, so far. All sexual activity stays behind closed doors and is not advertised. I have been known to streak across my own yard and that is not against Mature policy also. I have shot weapons at friends and a target dummy. No blood. Also within policy.

My only question, still, is about what is seen in an avatar's Profile...I have seen explicit Adult content in profile pics...will that be filtered as well? Or will one have to "Hide" those groups and remove those photos when visiting a PG or Mature sim?

Under current policy, profiles *should* already be PG in nature.

True, they are supposed to be...XD But, many group logos do have explicit images. I have also seen some interesting group names!

Well, considering that "sexually themed" activities do, on rare occasion happen there, and LL said it would broadly define "sexually themed" to include any sexually oriented activities and conduct.. it would be adult. My fondness for photo-real skins and my habit of standing around nude would also contribute to that lol.

According to Blondin "photorealistic" doesn't mean "photorealistic".

From what I gather out of Blondin's statements is this: A 'photorealistic' skin applied to the avatar mesh isn't a photorealistic depiction of nudity. I have to tend to agree, since the majority of the SL community does nothing but complain about the un-realism of the mesh. The 'photorealistic' mention Blondin was talking about was along the lines of direct real-world photographs taken in a pornographic context. (^_^)

My group's land, spread over PG and M sims, is PG

The exception is one big chunk of a PG sim. It's got a pub on it.
The idea of an Irish village/harbour without a pub is just plain ludicrous.

Under the new definition of PG, the pub is Mature content, so we'll wait until someone ARs it.


There should be a level under the current PG.
MG - Muslim Guidance. No references to alcohol and no women's faces outside of closed doors.
How the hell are Muslims going to have a "predictable" experiences if women flaunt their faces at every corner?

We have the usual sex pose balls but they are in a secret room one would ever find,oh i suppose if one played with their viewer they would but that's mute anyway because no one can gain access to the island

Shhhhhh sex balls are not allowed on PG land, they're "Tender Moments" balls.

For some reason " I wanna tender moment you up" doesn't sound right. But "Oh baby tender moment me." does have a ring to it.

Hey All,

There has been a tremendous outcry about the PG definitions and how it appears in the KB article that they will be affected in all of this as well. This was never the case and I apologize for the team that it came across this way.

I just want to say that there will be NO changes to the old definition of PG. We'll revisit this document internally and make the corrections.
