How the heck do I remove my underpants?

I can't remove my underpants. I am no where near being a minor. Thanks in advance! BTW, I did not find the answer in the search function, and I tried.

Some skins - especially freebies - have underclothes painted on. The only way to remove them is to change skins.

try a search for skins, a lot of skin sellers have freebies available... just find one that has no underpants

Use the Search function inside SL, and use either the All tab or the Places tab in the search box. Or use it to search for freebies, and look for skins.

If you just joined, your original skin should not have underpants on it, unless you are on the teen grid.

Try creating new underpants and setting the texture to the "transparent" texture in the library.

You might be experiencing a regular SL problem where, even after removing your clothing layer, you still see it on your avatar for some time. Try taking off the underwear layer in your inventory and then relogging.

If you're using the default SL skin, it may very well have underwear "painted on" to the skin and therefor stuck to you. I can't remember if the default skin has that or not though.

First, type "worn" into your inventory search window, which will show you everything you're wearing in bold (plus some textures and other things that idiot creators of nomod items named with the word "worn" in their name! /soapbox off).

If you are not wearing anything on the underpants or pants layer, then it is on your skin. Look in your inventory for anything named "skin" - I bet the library has a few that you can at least try out.

Now, getting better free ones. If you have not been to the Free Dove yet, go there and pick up some good free stuff. But iirc the male skins there, while ok to test with, are not very good. Too bad you missed Halloween, there were bunches of skins in hunts. But for now, try a couple of places:

MM Skins (Minnu) put out on their lobby counter a bit ago two bags, one with female skins, one with male. Their male skin is better than their women's.

Adam and Eve has a male free skin on the wall in their skin shop, if you are still less than 30 or 60 days old.

Several skin shops have free "newbie" skins if you are less than 30 days old, but I forget which might have male ones. Try Sin Skins?

I just looked...several of the male default skins in the Library do in fact have underwear painted on. Specifically, Clubgoer Male, Gamer Guy, Musician Guy, and Professional Male.

Don't some of the newer avatar choices have painted on underwear? I know one of the girl ones does. I think the gamer avatars are the ones.

That's not the default skin, though. The default skin is the one when you have no tattoos at all.

OK, switch to an avatar that isn't censored.

Those aren't the "default skin". The default skin is what you get if you create a new skin and wear it. It doesn't have any tattoo layers at all.
