Where do I report a vendor?

He banned me for looking in his store like any other customer becasue he saw a tag over my head he did not like. He then banned my girl for association with me after she purchased from him. Took her money then banned her and told her he'd report her for Trial Abuse...

I have no idea what 'Trial Abuse' is, but it's his land and his shop...he can actually ban people for whatever reason he likes. LL won't get involved.

Trial abuse usually means when someone finds away to take advantage of free trials of products or services in order to get unlimited use out of them. No idea how it would apply to SL, unless you found a creative use for demo hair or something like that, and someone decided to take offense over it If that's all it was, I'd simply forget about that vendor and move on with life, a report of something like that isn't the kind of thing LL will generally care about, reported or not.

Linden Lab doesn't get involved in squabbles between residents. Only thing you can do is not shop there, tell your friends not to shop there, etc. But don't post the vendor here. Naming names is a no no.

Some people are just idiots. Fortunately there's plenty of wonderful people in SL. I'd consider it a blessing if he banned me. I wouldn't want to shop there.

Took a look at the OP's profile, and can see why he got banned. He's trolling, and displaying all the signs of begging for a double standard. He wants to be in a group that will gladly kick and ban someone for simply being different, and when he gets booted because of who HE is, wants to pitch a bitch about it.

Grow up, move on, or stay in your own little world.

I didn't see anything trollish in his profile. I know his brand of RPing isn't generally welcoming to non-humans, but that doesn't automatically mean he deserves to be unceremoniously banned for it.

Tiberious' forum title indicates that he's furry, whereas Roul is the G-word that I hesitate to mention, given how those discussions tend to go. Furries are not permitted in their lands.

As if it wasn't blatantly obvious. He's got 21 groups showing, and 18 of them are relevant to his ejection from the store, from what I'm able to glean from the post.

Exactly. So, when someone or some group wants to be intolerant, they should be the LAST to whine when it comes to having the same thing happen to them.

while I tend to agree about intolerant people getting what the deserve, there isn't much point in fighting fire with fire here...

yes that RP sect has a long standing issue with furries, but you may also note that the account isn't that old, and the those groups you mentioned, all variation on a single sims theme... it's very possible this person knows nothing of the history, and also possible they were mistaken for someone that was involved in it.

to the OP: I can imagine that the shop owner might even have misread your account date, and assumed it was an alt of a previous troublemaker, based on similarity, and meant "Trial abuse" to be "Free accounts used for griefing"

as stated above land owners can ban at whim, no reasoning needed, there is no concept of public establishment, nor of equal rights within SL... nice people follow these in principal, others.... don't... my suggestion is associate w/ nice people, and tell you friends about the 'others'

It's not blatantly obvious to ME, and I'm only semi-human in SL. I don't doubt some of the RPers take things too far at times (don't we all?), but if their RP says furries/Nekos/vampires/fae/whatever don't exist, you can't really expect to be welcomed with open arms if you wander into one of their regions. MOST RP sims expect you to conform in some way, even if it's just changing your outfit for the duration of your visit.

And, for all we know, this guy is perfectly cordial to non-humans...it's not fair to judge him just because he happens to be G-word-ean.

I have to assume that there is something other than Gorean that caused the shop owner to ban him. It can't be because he hates Figtree either. The shop owner would have given him a medal and some free stuff.

What you see here, Trout, is anti-Gorean prejudice. That some people have standards and requirements others must adhere to in order to fit in, is looked upon with scorn by a significant portion of our residents.
