Did you avatar looks more or less like you?

I didn't "pick" my avatar, I made her. In the old days we made our own avatars and ,yes, we look like each other.

I made my avatar as close to me as possible by following my own facial features and my body including breast size and height and bum etc. My skin is kinda like my skin colour except when I am in my Goth skin or my Neko Leopard skin. I dont wander around the world in a Neko skin ... it might be difficult to get passed security at airports and I could end up as a handbag.

If you don't count the extra cup size...the rockin hair and the fuller lips, I guess my avatar does look pretty much like me. Many of us seem to just improve on our RL looks instead of creating something we're truly not. Seems to happen sub-conciously. Exceptions: furries, balls of light, combat warriors, etc.

I'd say she looks like me when I was about 17 ... people who know me rl have said there's elements of recognition still but I think they're being especially kind. But then also some have described me a sex on legs rl too (mentalists!).

Actually bit off topic but i was at OI public last night and we were trying to help this new guy. He totally ruthed and could not even change to another library shape because his Ruth-shape wasn't even loading!!! brrrrrrrrr

My avi looks extremely like me.

If this happens, teleport around randomly to places you don't normally go to ... also, sometimes, changing gender is the short sharp shock your av needs to get back in line.

My avatar looks exactly like me since I am a cross between Eddy Vedder and Brad Pitt in real life...

When I started out, my hair, clothes etc were so completely different from RL, as time has passed, my av is starting to look more like the RL me.....I think this happened subconsiously as I didn't really think about it until I read this thread. But I'm definitely much taller in SL than in RL...

-Better body shape? well, I just became a black lion. (human - yes; changed from no not same shape, but that wasn't the question)
-Same skin color? no (human - roughly, yes)
-Same eye color? no (human - no, had been close to yes, but then I made my own eyes, and those are not my eye color)
-Same ethnicity? no (human - I have no idea . . . um, yes?)
-Same "sexy" level? ?
depends on others opinions, I suppose. SL allowed me to examine more of a "sexy" nature that may or may not have been hidden in me. Then again, I'm now a black lion.

some years ago... but of course now ...i amnot quite as hot as she is..

but in many aspects we are the same...her eyes are blue and mine are green...so thats one difference...my hair isnt nearly as blonde as it used to be, getting a RL job that keeps you indoors will do that

i would say my AV is a representation of me at lets say 23...

About the same age. Everyone always thinks I'm younger than I really am in RL though.

I'd say she has my same basic body type, just more idealized. She's a little taller... 5'9" to my 5'7".

yes, except when I wear my RaC skins... then she is darker.

I don't think she actually looks like me at all despite all the similarities in the questions asked, but everyone else says she looks just like me. She most definitely has better hair then I do, although the colour I wear most often is close to my RL red.

I don`t get it? Aging does not play favorites; everyone ages, musical talents or not.

I don't really look much like my avatar - but my avatar does look like I looked 10 years ago before I began abusing my body with beer, takeaway food and doing a sitting-down desk job. Nowadays my body is beginning to get it's own back.

The sliders don't go up that far.

In real life im full figured, mid thirties, dark brown hair, answer to "MOM".

In second life im sleek, young, raven haired, answer to "WOW".
