Did you avatar looks more or less like you?

Reading about ethnicity, a question comes to my mind:

Do you pick some avatar that is more or less like you (in the look i mean)? Or just something you like no matter its very different from your real RL look?

none of them look like me

I have some cute little animal ones I do not look like that in RL

the human ones much cuter than I am in RL

why do I not wish to do an avi that looks like me?

I see me each and every day, I like to look at something or someone else when I play

Actually I managed to find one similar to how I was when I was 25ish, the only difference
is my avi has blonde hair, which I always wanted in RL buy couldnt be arsed to go and have the roots done every couple of weeks ....and the damn avis feet have to be so tiny to fit any shoes, Im 5ft 13 RL and have feet in proportion

At first, this av was built very closely to spec.

Over time, she's gotten sexier in her looks, taller to fit poseballs better, and has had some enhancements that make her different, such as the eyes - me, only better.

not a chance - I may be pale, but I'm not that pale.

Impossible to say...my RL ears are not that fuzzy, and the tail is gone.

Yes, my avi looks just like me. I'm 7ft 4in, have all my hair (and lots of it) and teeth, and if I wish I can have a huge erection 24/7.

If I'm purple/blue/silver in RL, I've got a major skin problem...

-Better body shape? - well...duh lol I doubt most people have a perfect body, since I dont in RL, I darn well was going to in SL. However, I did find that she does have my facial features and looks like me, just a better body. What I wouldnt pay for that shape RL, but I cant find any shape stores in my town

-Same "sexy" level? -...sexy is not just about how you look, but how you act. Since I act the same in SL (most of the time, granted) as RL, thats a yes.

My original avitar (tweaked and skinned) was fashioned to look similar--not identical--to my RL counter-part.

Now, however, I don't think I could look like my avatar for another 50 years or more.

I made my avatar to look like me.Fifteen years ago though,lol. I am not as cute anymore,lol.

- Never really thought about her age...I'm 36 in RL, but people generally guess much younger, so I don't think there's a huge discrepancy appearance-wise.

-Yes

-Oh hell yeah! lol She's also a good 10" taller than I am.

-Similar; I'm uber pale in RL and that can be difficult to find in SL.

Same eye color?

-Related theme...they're light greenish-blue in RL and bright aqua in SL. I don't have the elliptical pupils in RL, though.

-Doubtful, but I suppose it depends on who you ask.


Hair color is completely different. Also, I do have a few somewhat feline qualities in RL, which is why Ann is Neko. =^.^=

DaQbet has close to the same facial features as I do in RL. His chin and nose I think are a little more pronounced, and his hair is longer and lighter then mine.

My AV is me in my mid 20's instead of crowding 40 like I am in RL. Hair color, eye color, skin coloration ,the 5 o'clock shadow, and the build are what I had 16 years ago. I have worn a mustache for 20 years in RL, too bad all the SL facial hair looks like crap.

I wonder if there's a business opportunity there.... prim facial hair? OMG I would LOVE for handlebar moustaches or those long swoopy cavalry/cowboy moustaches to make a comeback. I swear, I'd log in as my male alt everyday if I could have a prim swooshy moustache.

Mostly, but I experiment with these the same way as i do with contacts in RL. AND I wear glasses in SL, too, just like in RL.

Whatever that may be. I don't run around in micro skirts in SL or RL, or have me boobs hanging out.

With hair colour, it's usually red as in RL, or black, or black and blue, or just blue. All colours that I like and have had at one point in RL.

Yep, just like me, although I wear my hair a bit shorter in RL (it's tough to find a good crewcut in SL).

The only real difference is my height. Because of the bug in SL, I look more "normal" at 7'2" in SL, representing my RL 6'2". I'm thinking of cutting that down to an SL 7' even.

My mustache is bushy, think Sam Elliott or Tom Selleck (no I do not look as good as either of them). But for the most part SL mustaches lean towards 70's porn star.

I am trying to make my avatar look like me, so same age, sex, body shape, skin color, eye color, and ethnicity. She does have _much_ better hair. IRL, I cut mine myself. She's also got more interesting clothes and better shoes. Actually, I think I've accidentally made her look like JK Rowling.

Actually, I thought Elliott and Selleck's mustaches look like 1970s porn star mustaches. sorry
