Did you avatar looks more or less like you?

After my latest makeover - My avatar looks very much like me hit by a cartoon ray.

so yeah my avatar is me.

I still have another avatar that is me after drinking the ultra majik slim fast of perfect body-ness.

But Ive actually gotten a lot of favorable comments on my new look. And although i was nervous at first I am now comfortable not using a perfect body avatar.

These (from picture) are more like my old RL glasses though, couldnt find any like my current ones.

I made a shape and facial features that roughly matches my real life look, but I do not have a picture of that readily available. What I have is a slightly idealized look (ah, slightly?):

-Better body shape? - well, when I'm in my "homemade" shape - yes; most of the time I'm in my tiny shape
-Same skin color? - when human, yes
-Same eye color? - I forgot to think about that . . .um, no?
-Same ethnicity? - um . . . I guess
-Same "sexy" level? - have no idea . .. .

oh, and I went out of my way to find a full beard look - dang - so many had soul patches, or some scruffy look - I have a full beard in real life gosh darn it . . .

Sam Elliott's moustache is hot. Moustaches in general are hot.

I like Sellecks. If I remember Elliott's, though, I keep thinking that he needs to remove that badger from his face.

I'm a 5'2" white/orange canine with a way cool orange mohawk. I'm 4 (in dog years as you humans like to say) and have a big fluffy tail that women love to pet

In contrast the doofus at the other end of the wire is 6'3", stocky, dark and nowhere near as witty or as cute as me. I told him that he needs a 'hawk but he insists on being bald...

The only things we have in common: we're both male and share a love of a great set of female legs. Oh well, at least he gets points for good taste in women...

My avatars are, for the most part, roleplaying characters who were defined before I came to SL, or were created external to SL. Only one of them looks vaguely like me in RL, and that one I hardly ever use. Most of my avatars are furries, which I obviously am not in RL.

I come to SL to give life to fictional characters that heve been a part of my story telling and roleplaying for years. If I want to be "just like me", I'll walk outside and do something in RL. Being a virtual clone of myself in SL, where I can be anything I can imagine, is like going to an ice cream store that sells 100 different flavors, and always ordering a single scoop of plain vanilla.

Is you avatar "younger" than you? - Yes, although I'm told I look young for my age.

Same sex? - No she gets far mo- I mean yes.

Better body shape? - Slightly yes. I don't have quite the badonkadonk ass that my avie does

Same skin color? - Yes. Unless I change to a more tanned skin variation. In RL I don't tan, I burn.

Same eye color? - Yes.

Same ethnicity? - Yes, except my avie looks like she might be German/Dutch/Korean(?!) instead of just German/Dutch like me. Mostly eye shape.

Same "sexy" level? - When my avie gets into the poses she does, she doesn't end up wearing cream pies or tomatoes. That makes one of us

But back to topic: I'm fairly similar to my avatar. And like my avatar, I used to wear a fringe leather jacket back in the 70's (until my girlfriend's cat made it unwearable). ...

The only ( ) difference is I'm shorter, thinner, older, have a ruddier complexion, longer hair in a ponytail but a little thinner on top, and a few more wrinkles.

I actually made a "sunburned" outfit - outfit instead of skin because I couldn't figure out how to do the face. Looks like a sunburned person that remembered to cover up their head.

My avatar looks like me, but in an idealized way. He's a little younger and missing the growing pot belly and greying chest hair Features, hair, skin tone, eye color etc I tried to get as close as possible. As a RL musician, I don't really look my age anyway. I certainly don't act it.

Tom Selleck's stache is defo gay porn. Sam Elliott's stache is hot.

I started SL as a furry, and still have furry avatars that I put on and enjoy. I have other alts that I use for role play as well, and they look nothing at all like me in RL.
I wanted DaQbet to be unique but human and figured heck what’s more unique then me being me. Now though I have to say that DK is on less then half the time, with my remaining time divided up between the other characters.

I’m the type that stands at the counter of Baskin Robins for 20 minutes trying to make up my mind and still I get vanilla. DaQbet is more imaginative then I am in RL…

I like chocolate in real life. Chocolate with chocolate chips. (no extra chocolate swirl or anything like that)

I do not know what flavor I like in SL.

I WISH I looked as fabulous as my avatar. Originally I tried to create an av that looked more like me but was frustrated. Someone stated they created an avatar based on someone they'd like to date (we're both gay). I found that much easier to do and stuck with it. I'm very comfortable with him.
