From: Midnight Paragon And if you think for a second that dogs don't rule the roost, then your dog totally owns you. Dogs rule through the fine art of subtlety -- something a cat could never attain. Cats are just too crass for that. oh, and I can't help it, I'm a dog person... I am too, Midnight. Yay for our canine friends! And my dogs absolutely rule my house. I would feel guilty going to the butcher for my Christmas duck without picking up $10 worth of bones for the dogs. I base my auto purchases on the dogs (they're big hunting dogs so I can't just toss them in the front seat), my exercise routine around the dogs, etc etc. They have their own spots on my bed. They demand attention. Oh yes, the dogs are my masters, no doubt about it. I'm a happy servant.

Give me a big German Shepherd, retriever, or a good old mutt any day. My home is adorned with pictures of my beloved Bear, a Shepherd Rotweiller mix who my brother found wandering the streets of Brooklyn, put into his radio car and brought to me one night. He gave me 10 great years, and I am searching for another dog just like him.

If I could send you a puppy for Christmas, Brenda, I would. *hug* Puppies are the best creatures on the planet.

From: Ricardo Harris I think being closed minded is more like someone who when backed into a corner uses assumptions and what if's because they can't give out straight answers although they act and think like they know but don't. This has been more then evident in prior posts.
My questions was out in the open yet, what did I get for it? I simply and easily asked why. Simple enough? But all I got was what if's and nothing but assumptions. This an answer doesn't give.
Closed minded indeed. Chris, I rest my case with the above. More than enough for me. Bye all.

I AM A BIG CAT NECO. I am the cat's meow...Hear me ROAR!
Neco babe, tumble with me, and in 3 months there will be tiny mouths mewling at your breasts. My neco babe has my full portrait tattooed on her back. Gorean fool, mess with me, and I will crush your neck in my jaws! My RP is independence: am I OOC)) to you? Well that’s too bad, I don't care! Does nudity offend you? Then don’t look at me... do not look upon royalty, mere mortal!
Otherwise I am just your plain ordinary nice, easy going, fun loving, and likable guy!

I have 5 Coonhounds and how they fit into a vehicle is criteria number one. As for the bed, I share with the puppy. But by morning it looks like someone threw a bucket of animals on me. My dogs are part of my family. Wherever I go, they accompany me. If I can't take them somewhere, I just don't go (except for work -- they go to doggie daycare). Simple. Leaving a dog at home alone for any length of time, IMHO, is cruel. Dogs are social creatures, they have to feel like they belong.
