Ponzi Operator: [...]In lieu of payment we will be giving you the interest in the equivelent amount of more ginko "bonds".
I really don't think that's gonna happen, because then there'd be no way to convince anybody that these bonds are worth anything at all. (And then it really will be the end of this thread--reason enough to predict it won't happen. ;) )

Although Ginko Guy doesn't own any GPBs (as far as we can confirm), he must have an interest of some sort in keeping them alive, or all the trouble of converting the bank deposits would have been for naught. I suppose it's possible that by Oct 1, whatever purpose GPBs served him will be fulfilled--but I can't come up with a plausible scenario in which that's true. So, I expect he'll liquidate enough assets to pay that dividend. What happens after that, though, is anybody's guess, and presumably depends on the "hope springs eternal" effect of freshly gullible investors.

Or payments will be "delayed" becuase of "liquidity problems" which are amplified by the "Negative press" , etc.

Can always blame someone else with the way its all set up now.

Please Note -

the bank run wasnt the result of fund mismangement, poor investments, or a lack of transperency.

The run was cuased by depositors who balked becuase of rumors.

If you are wrong and even a little bit is paid, are you willing to match what is paid?

Um....no?

Yeah cuase that makes sense - make someone who had nothing to do with perpetrating the scam pay becuase Nick might come up with a fraction of the money he actually owes people.

He isn't going to liquidate anything to pay what he owes; it just makes the water rise in his boat a little faster if he does. I cannot wait for Oct 1 to see what happens. I would not be surprised at all if he issues more bonds as payment of the dividend.

Nah.

If they really know that nothing will be paid as they say, they have nothing to lose to agree to match what is paid.

Just like the topic asks, what's it worth?

This is not circular logic, its merry-go-round logic.

Is it time to buy???...GINKO down to .07 cents. Just think if it even goes back to .20cents..your gain.

I had alot of stock in Ginko and it's sitting there in Bonds. Makes me sick to see it go that low, BUT, it mat also be a good investment.

Call me stupid, but this would only be my 2nd time getting screwed. Third time ain't going to happen.

Why would you risk buying a bond to a company that essentially closed its doors due to what ammounted to bankruptcy. Even if it wasn't a scam that would be the ultimate risk it would be like investing in peny stocks on the off chance that they would pay off. I have a spouse that did that I was not impressed. Suffice it to say that we had a good argument over that and the 10,000 dollars never yielded a cent. This is no different even if there was no scam it would be such a wrong thing to do everything inside me screams no don't. Just based on the fact that the bank had to close, force these things on investors who didn't actualy want them and the value of a single bond will possibly and maybe pay off say in 5-9 years? Will SL even exist then?

Please anyone who wants to do this send me the lindens instead at least they will be kept ingame and used for content creation and making cool stuff :P

gimme! ^^
