I paid to see "10,000 BC" which has to be the worst movie known to man. I'll cover your "10,000 BC" and raise you a "Megaforce"... still the only movie I have ever walked out of. I don't even know what got into me to agree and go try to watch it. .d _____________________

Hey! i liked Quick And the Dead!...it was ..umm...it had....i loved.... what was the question? ![]() ps: ummm am i the only one who remembers the horror that was Battlefield Earth? I didn't see Megaforce, but I saw Battlefield Earth. It was BAAAD, but it wasn't as bad as 10,000 BC. I'm not exaggerating. I've walked out of a few movies, but I literally couldn't stop watching that trainwreck because it just kept getting worse and worse. I've never seen anything so awful in my entire life. I'll avoid Megaforce, but I can't imagine it was much worse. _____________________

Nearly - it's the new crack. By the way, I have difficulties in my life. You know, everyday problems - the usual. I was wondering if you could call me hun or sweetie and slowly tell me how to sort everything out? That would be marvellous if you could. Between you and me, I was in a ..... let's call it a niche club, the other night and I was chatting to a big horse. Just when I thought I was getting somewhere, I received an IM telling me that he was actually a dog in RL. What should I do? (Don't forget the 'mwah') Now you are being just plain silly. Crack is still crack. Chris caught me smoking a twenty bump just the other day. _____________________

I don't think I'm out of line. It was so bad. The whole caveman/dinosaur/Egypt thing was such a stretch that i just couldn't suspend my belief. I kept hoping that the main caveman's love interest would die. Hell, I was rooting for the dinosaurs to just eat everyone up - I could have gone home early! I saw Leatherheads last night. It's the new George Clooney movie. I really liked it. Clooney was great, Rene Zellwigger (sp?) was fantastic. Maybe go see that instead. _____________________

While I disapprove of outing people's personal details, one can hardly call it "spreading nasty rumours" when someone says something about you that is true. You are male, this is a fact. Also, since you were at a club called "Shemale Sanctuary" and had, I assume, an apparently female looking avatar, then it should also be pretty obvious to anyone around you that you are probably male in real life - so this person saying that you are is hardly revealing something that is secret. My suggestion is that you stop being such a big emo about it and move on with your life. Back on track, this is the most eloquent, concise and precise estimation of the situation. _____________________

Me too. Some movies are so bad they're funny. Some are so bad that you are offended and insulted that you paid to see them. That one was in a class by itself. It was so bad that it left me numb and speechless. I literally don't have words to describe how bad it was. Appalling. The entire movie was one big WTF. Wooly mammoth hunters, who mildly resembled the Geico Cavemen, on the North American Ice Shelf were kidnapped by Eqyptians and forced to march to Egypt (Apparently in 10,000 BC, you could walk to Egypt from British Columbia in a couple days) through a jungle loaded with dinosaurs. Tht's right. I said "dinosaurs". In Egypt they were put to slave labor building the pyramids. The mystery of how the pyramids were built is handily solved - more wooly mammoths, which, despite being wooly, appear to do quite well in the FRICKIN SAHARA DESERT!! I want to strangle everyone involved in this movie with my bare hands. It was the WORST movie I have ever seen in my entire life, and that's saying something. I saw Ishtar and that awful Sharon Stone Western, The Quick and the Dead, or whatever it was called. ![]() _____________________

I am sorry this happen to you but sadly um some people are like that.
If I was going to do the label thing I fit somewhere in that whole spectrum of being TS/TG/IS guy in real life but here I am just guy, I don't have sex, I personally choose not to hang out in many public places be it here or real life. It really isn't anyone business but I don't hide it either yet if you met me on street corner as stranger I wouldn't even bring it up because it matter of safety. Worse someone can do is just be really annoying, I can mute, ignore or log out. I personally most of time keep to myself and I assume the worse about others most of time but I have been surprisingly amazed by the good things and good friends I have found here I focus on creating and hanging out with people who make great things, friends that I have met long away the none of above really matters when I log in most of time. I think it's stupid that people play all these weird stalking, manipulative drama hostility games. I don't get it, I don't want to be part of it, and I don't have to yet I feel for the OP. TG 101, first lesson I learned expect to lose friends, expect people to be hostile, cruel and just hope they don't try to kill you for existing so do what you can to be safe, Luckily no one can kill you here. My suggestion is there is enough that goes with life, second, first or whatever number just ignore the idiots and focus on what you enjoy _____________________

This thread went totally off topic but I was thinking about this the other day and wanted to comment on the original post. I did not read all 100+ so this may have already been said... but, people in SL are a lot like people in RL. You have those people that are jealous and/or just mean natured. They may not mean to do deceitful or rude things or even know that they are doing it. I am encountering something similar and not with someone trash talking but with someone seemingly trying to pull the rug out from under me. I am pretty sure it is due to their insecurity and jealousy. I cannot go into detail because I do not want to be hurtful or make problems, but it is really getting on my nerves. I just have to distance myself - just as I would do in real life.
So, take it for a grain of salt and give them enough rope to hang themselves. Eventually people will see who the piece of shit is - and it's not you! |

I truly do thank the majority of the 'repliers' in here.
But, a few of you have missed the point. It was the INTIMATION of what this girl was saying. That I am a man PRETENDING to be female in SL by just adopting a female avatar. This is not true. I was born transexual, I've grown up transexual, and I will, no doubt, die transexual. I do not get off on 'playing' at being female as so many do in Second Life. My head tells me I am female, unfortunately, my body does not. And the reason I go to the Shemale Sanctuary is to help those that may be new to SL and have looked up 'TG' in SEARCH and headed for the first place that comes up. It also amuses me the way some of these people(the pretenders, for there are many), behave, thinking that the way they behave, is the way a TG would behave in RL. It is not. Not for the majority anyway. The people that need it, I help, I guide them to the TRC(Transgender Resource Centre). Or one of many other organisations that may be able to help. Or may answer questions that they may have about TGism. I am not a font of all knowledge on this subject, I can only tell what my experiences have been like. I do thank, again, the majority of those that heva put good, concise and informative answers down on this thread. The others, go read up on this subject before saying something that may be uninformed. ...Oli. |

Well Victor1st Mornington, with that so very tasteful and respectful little post you just made my ignore list..
As to the original poster.. Well I have to agree with so many of the other posters here... Just ignore / AR them. They are a Drama Queen and others will quickly see this.. Just be yourself, and don't let it bother you.. Some people are just like that, and they feed on your reaction. So don't react. Lizzy |
