The left part of the title bar is opaque, the right part is translucent. The division point moves as the Advanced Admin and Tools menu items are displayed or removed.

Sheesh!

Yes, I hate 1.20, for a variety of reasons. The newest one is that it gives me vertigo : http://www.daikonforge.com/webtab/2008/04/12/release-candidate-viewer-120-makes-me-sick/

Ugh :(

The axes that appear when you edit go all the way across the screen.

Aighh!!

The grid options menu appears on top of the edit menu. When both are transparent it's an unreadable mess.

I gave up on building and scripting long ago because the building system works so badly - rubber banding, can't reliably save scripts, saving is so slow it's maddening, etc., plus things like the cone of context, so I don't guess my opinion of things matters any.

I still dream of a sleek property bar like Corel Draw has. One small enough to leave up all the time without feeling hurt by loss of screen space.

The scroll bar in the debug settings is the same color as the background of the text in the list. :(

There are many tabs that have shapes like the function keys on the Atari ST.

I always felt that the oddball looking function keys played a big part in the commercial failure of the ST.

How do you add the ability to display thumbnails of j2c files to windows explorer?

I have programs to manipulate them, and to browse them with thumnails views, but I want to add the thumbnail ability to windows explorer.

I've tried a few programs that supposedly add this feature but never found one that works. If you do find one, please add it to the wiki link I posted above.

In working with the viewer j2c files, I found the easiest method was just to convert them to jpgs, browse them until I found the filename I wanted, then use another program to edit the j2c file (in my case, paintshop pro). Really, there's not much need for it now though; most all of the j2c files in the textures folder are for the OI hud.

I think 1.2 shows a lot of promis, the Joystick options will be great when I get a better joystick, the skins a bit bright, but it is reskinable and I guess that will be a cool feature when it matures.

Hmmm, peculiar. Does it actually log IMs when unchecked? If not, while it'd be a little bit of a nuisance, someone who liked the interface otherwise could uncheck it again at each login.

Little bit of a nuisance is a bit of an understatement. I would imagine that without giving some kind of prior consent or warning, this is a violation of someones civil rights.

Why can't LL leave the defaults alone? Apart from the basics, all the funky features should be OFF by default. Just imagine what would happen if Micro$oft decided that in every patch for M$ Word they would reset everyones defaults.

You don't have to! If you were using the last RC build for Windlight, you'll get that message, but you can just uninstall the RC and download the new main viewer instead, 1.19.1.4. It's Windlight and it has the old UI.

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

1.20 is not a mandatory viewer, it's test software and naturally has some bugs. No one HAS to use it and LL isn't violating anybody's anything if people choose to do so anyway.
