In game I am IC all the time, meaning I only role play a child even in IMs.
Aside from meeting other kids at the adoption agency and bumping into them while shopping are there any cool places inwolrd to meet other kid avis.
thanks ;p

Livingtree is a cool, kid-avatar-friendly sim, with a playground and fishing and fun stuff.

When I was looking for my 512 plot everytime I zoomed mainland back I kept seeing a giant sim wide sign somewhere that said 'child playpen' or something like that.
Every interest has its place in SL. I made sure to not be on any of the neighboring sims. Don't need to have anyone lagging while walking suddenly popping into my bedroom... _____________________

Check out Livingtree, KIC, Undercity, Goonie Island, and a bunch of other places. And, I'm marking down Mari for not pouncing on this thread within the first 5 posts. =^-^=

And, I'm marking down Mari for not pouncing on this thread within the first 5 posts. =^-^= ![]() She got a lot of 'em (as did Abigail), but I would also include Whippersnapper, Camp Kwabata, Willowdale, Guardian Island, Inner Child Depot in Fletcher, Funky Town - amongst others. Livingtree is a cool, kid-avatar-friendly sim, with a playground and fishing and fun stuff. Of course, I also do recommend Livingtree: come by for the fishing tournament today 'round 6:30, or the fireworks at 8 (all SLT). To find even more places, I suggest checking out one of the Second Childhood Network Kiosks. We have one at http://slurl.com/secondlife/Livingtree/180/137/24 When I was looking for my 512 plot everytime I zoomed mainland back I kept seeing a giant sim wide sign somewhere that said 'child playpen' or something like that. That I suspect, was Inner Child Depot. Hard to miss it on the map. _____________________

Someone IRL was telling me the other day about three-year old children he knows who play in SL. They love the dressing up part, which they also love IRL. Their father got them their SL accounts - this is on the main grid. The parents know it's supposed to be for adults, but they see children avatars there and assume they are children also.
Just in case you weren't sure if there are little kids running around on the grid. I forget the name of the sim they hang out in, but this guy knew it. Until this, I never in my wildest nightmare imagined that a kid avi might have an actual RL little child behind it. (I mean, I'm sure there are teens who have lied to get online, but three year olds on the grid?!?! Bizarre.) |

Three year olds who can read chat, type, search inventory for the clothes they want to wear - I'm impressed. This sounds like a good thing. More likely, they're sitting on mommy or daddy's lap, and maybe being allowed to click the mouse or move around, point at the clothing item to buy, etc. I don't really have a problem with that. |

Eeasy.
Check out WoH (World of Hogwarts) Its a great harry potter related sim. You get to play a student and spend time in a huge castle, you can go to classes that are offered by professors. Apart from that there are many interesting plots going on. Even adults can join! (We have strict rules regarding age play, dont worry) I say.. come and visit us ! |

Now your catching on. Catching on? I doubt there is much of anything Marianne needs catching onto especially about Second Life. _____________________

Now your catching on. Anyway... The only "catching on" that needs to happen is with you. We all are fully aware of the vendetta you have against child avatars. Don't try obfuscating the issue with comparisons with real children, because there are none. _____________________

Now her what??? Anyway... The only "catching on" that needs to happen is with you. We all are fully aware of the vendetta you have against child avatars. Don't try obfuscating the issue with comparisons with real children, because there are none. Exactly my take on this too. I sit here shaking my head at the obvious jabs and trailing after Mari, the LL avatar does. Mari does not deserve any snide remarks from a person who can't even get the data correct time and time again. I think I need to chill out.. Ice Cream anyone? ![]() _____________________
