I tend to be of foul temper and wicked disposition here...simply because this is the "official" set of Linden forums. And...there is a chance...however laughably slight...that an actual, honest to gosh linden might actually read one of my gripes...and understand that their bug-ridden platform is driving me around the freakin' bend.

They've left us with precious little hope in actually contacting them...so this is all we have left...this one tiny little piece of light in an ocean of unwashed longhair darkness. Oh! The light...how we yearn for the light!

Or at least a stable release with a decent fps and no memory leaks.

Why do you care so much? Why does it bother you to the point you need a thread like this one? Then about postings on a forums?

You would assume people have better things to do then whine about someone being rude on the forums. So what? This is the problem nowadays, too much bitching over non-important things. Too many thin skinned folks around. Seems like everything and anything is offensive.

Yes, you'll see people say certain things but usually they're firing back at those who've said something to them that have aroused them. You don't see too many people saying things to others just for the hell of it. This is one way of doing it but there are also others.

Now, I'm aware there's a difference between being rude and speaking your mind. But many times when you speak your mind, you're seen as being non-social, mean spirited and rude. You're seen like these by those who seem to get offended by anything regardless of how slight it is and as can be seen here, we've got quite a few.

The days of speaking what and how you really feel seems a thing of the past. And it happens because everyone gets offended by any little thing. Everyone wants to be Miss Goody Two-Shoes. They want you to say what's suppose to be the right thing to say and not what you really feel.

Big difference between being a hypocrite and saying what others think you should then by saying what you feel regardless how you're perceived.

Yes I have that dream too where's Jessica Alba and Lexxi Gynoid, but it turns into a nightmare when I don't awake, asleep at the keyboard as they crash through the ceiling, they go and empty all the beer from my fridge and walk up the road tongues tied together leaving me in the morning trying to explain the damage to an unbelieving insurance assesor.

And it's also the reason why SL sucks so much.

You do have a point. Honestly, I think the "era of good feelings" ended when VAT blew up and all the nationalistic arguments started flying back and forth.

Honestly, though, this isn't a general forum and when it's actually used to provide help instead of trying to bitch about something or being used improperly for ads, it's very helpful with no sniping whatsoever.

There is probably a reason why places like SC, SLU, etc. have "better feelings" in the eyes of some people, and that is because a certain segment of the populace wants a place to vent and bitch and blame LL without restraint, and there, you have it. They are more in agreement, there is more groupthink, so it "feels better." I'm not an LL cheerleader, but what I am is a realist, and I think that some people take the crusade against LL too far, especially when it comes to certain topics.
