But if you joined "Deviant Life", you'd therefore be deviant, which would in turn make you not deviant (because you'd be like everyone else there), which would mean you shouldn't be there at all, because you're not deviant. Alternatively, you could join "Deviant Life" and not be deviant, which would make you deviant, so you could stay. But you'd be boring as hell.

It was a financial experiment with a twist of culture and a physical dimension. A good idea. And it attracted attention. It's not "ours" to decide why and how we should be surveyed. This isnt MainStreet USA. It's a daily and nightly "performance" by thousands of people and we draw the attention of our "critics".

Surveys, teens in sl, voice, etc etc are all valid. If we owned this place we could call the shots, but we dont.

This is where your grandiose view of SL deviates from my pragmatic one, not saying it is wrong.

To me SL is a product. Intented to make money for it's creators. A computer based entertainment /communication program. It's users are customers. Not performers. Many pay to use it. Some pay quite a bit to use it. And by that virtue, I think they do have right to a say in the direction of that product as they are helping to pay the freight. And we do have the right to decide who, how and why we are poked , prodded and surveyed. Because in all truth, it's no one's business why any one of us are here, and what we do. I'm not someone's damned trained monkey.

But its a way of seeing us - people pay but some people see this as a performance art.
When we go out in real we put on our "slap" and tog up and then we create a performance in our visuals. So, too, with here. People pay to actually perform here. I wish I had thought of it.

Can't. It's too much risk. But, if you are as qualified as you maintain, I suggest you read Aphra Behn's poem "The Defiance" - it has a certain "amusing" turn of phrase. Of course, I am sure you know it well enough already.

I really am not sure what to be "Pep" means, in all seriousness, and would prefer to be identified as the individual that I am separate from whatever entity you have assumed I might be. I make no assumptions about you, so please treat me as an individual. My SL door is always open, and if I have wronged you in some way, please let me know. Arrogant though I may be at times, I am very open to constructive criticism and willing to admit error, and take responsibility for foolish actions when such are pointed out.
