It may be tin foil hat time but I am seriously beginning to think that a reduction in forum use is exactly what they are after. They seem to want a few people to answer simple question and that is it. This will keep the Q&A load off the support system and impede discussions of any short comings. Maximum benefit from minimum risk. The new website is the face of SL. As they continue to pimp to the Corporates LL needs to keep us Negative Nancy's away from public view. The Blogorum helps do that. I too haz tin foil hat.

Add to virtually all of the above:
It's slower. Going from page to page is painfully slow.
It throws errors every time I change pages. Have to click on 3 to 8 dialogs every time.
Can't find ANYTHING except by using the search engine. No reasonable way to browse by topic, or even to see all the current threads.

As for the post count carp LL made some noises about getting rid of them and, as with most other projects, promptly went off in search of nemo chasing shiny things and nothing was ever done. I'm pretty sure LL is managed by Dory. I.e.; windlight estate settings, shareable windlight settings, and a million other things promised, including stuff related to content theft, etc. So learn to look the other way. Or go attack the people here on this forum with more than 15,000 posts in 2 or 3 years which is more than anyone managed at the xstreet forums lmao. It is absurd people here decry the xstreet forum now commerce forum for people enjoying discussions when these forums here are so very much more "chatty" with such important topics as let this one die. But right now the focus is on finding an office in Amsterdam. Suddenly working for Linden Lab looks much more interesting.  |
