If you do one of these, make sure they attach one electrode to your foot and one to your hand to get the best result (as opposed to those coin operated machines you see in airport toilets where you either stand on two plates or hold onto handles.) Men carry more fat on their upper body, while the opposite is generally true of women.
Still, the most reliable method is still the good old body fat pincers. Your doctor can do this. So how do those electric thingies work? What do you do, zap him and listen for the sizzle?

In RL she would be about normal, proberly an aussie size 14 to 16.... in SL she is obese becuase so many avies are stick thin... but she is me and i her IMO, many avies in SL being stick thin doesn't equal others being obese. They're just stick thin.

Hmmm, Now you all had me worried lol. I went in and checked and it says Height = 72 Body Thickness = 5 Body Fat = 5 Dont think I look like a stick. And pretty sure someone thinks I look fine. I will ask him tonite when I get home  Bec

You know, these height measurements don't really mean that much, considering things like leg, torso, and even neck length also contribute to av height....one avatar set at 70 height can be noticeably taller than another with the same setting.

I've been quite happy with my shape for months and months, but you guys got me looking at me again.
Last night I tweaked the body fat slider up just a bit.

Fat: 40
I also have a bit of a paunch and nice broad shoulders and a fine round butt. On Second Life, I can wear a long line bra, something I could never wear in real life. I'm full figured to be sure, but my breasts resemble real breasts not tea cups or bowling balls.
I'm a solidly built little thing, but one size prims aren't going to fit me. I'll stick to system clothes and do my own textures.
Also, even though I wear clothes well, even underware and bathing suits, no one will ever hire me for a model.

I made a female avatar not too long ago and I tried to giver her a healthy look. I'm not in world atm so I can't look to see the exact figures but I know she has a bit of weight on her as well as some muscle. I figured if my camera is on my avatar most of the time that it would be nice to see come female curves. The shape is pleasing to my eye and apparently to others as well. (One buddy of mine likes it so much that it borders on uncomfortable.) ROFL |

My height is 100 for ... poseball compatibility, but the lengths of torso, hips, legs etc. are nowhere near that. Body thickness is 25, Body fat is 15. Muscles are in the 70s or 80s (I don't memorize all my sliders!). I think the butt is in the mid 40s. Svelte, but not gangly by any stretch of the imagination. I just sent a rl friend a postcard of my av in SL.  He sounded like Trout at first, but with a lot more exclamation points. hehe. "Hubba hubba!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
