I'm happy to say that I am usually a 100-100 girl, as are several of my friends. Depending on our heights, belly size and hips & butt numbers and others, we might look like from a 20 to a 26-28. Prim adjustment for us is a source of constant frustration but a fact of life as well. Some designers are making more clothes and outfits especially for BBWs, far more than when I started two years ago. I'm pleased to count several as my friends. We do stand out and I think that's the wonder of SL! Any woman can be attractive or not in SL and in RL, and it's much more than measurements and prim adjustments. Choosing to be a Barbie or a BBW is just that-a choice. I like the choice I made and my male friends seem to as well. Do those numbers make you plus sized? Decide for yourself. My numbers make me Supersized, and I love it! ~Jenni~ ----------------------- Is Trout's scale Logarithmic?

In all of my SL travels and of all the females I have had the pleasure to meet. The women from these forums have that something extra that comes from the intelligence hidden behind the keyboard. All of you have your own qualities and uniqueness that is yours alone.
My virtual hat is off to all of you. (was that over the top?)

I have carefully examined a LOT of female shapes in SL, and I consider myself a pretty good judge. Stop laughing. It's my job. Well, it's sort of my job. I don't actually get paid, although I've gotten a few nice gifts. NM that. I've seen a lot of female shapes. Hell, if you are female and reading this, there's a good chance I've really examined YOUR shape.
They have all been lovely, but there have been a few that have really stood out, and they were the ones that had some body fat, and had carefully balanced their shape to accomodate it. Anyone can slide the sliders over into the anorexic settings, and there's nothing wrong with those shapes, but someone who has really taken the time to tweak her shape, and especially to match it to her skin, really stands out. I don't know what Trout is at, and since he's a guy, it isn't relevant to the conversation. I do know, however, that it isn't just body fat. You have to balance all the variables to get the right shape, and moving one bar, even a little, can throw off the proportions of another bar. It's a balancing act.

Can I use this as an excuse to post Ann's ass again? Not that I really need an excuse...

From: Trout Recreant Yes and yes. You have offically got my permission to post your asses. Hehe. I suddenly realized 2 things: a) I have no idea how to post attachments here. So, I'd have to as usual, just post a link to my Flickr page. More important tho: b) I have no pictures of my ass which can be posted in this forum. Under any circumstances. They are all very much Trout Rating kind of pictures. /me makes a point to start taking some more "PG" rated or at least less mature photos to show off said assets

Having the body fat slider set to zero is not representative of 0% real life body fat - 0% body fat would make you look like Gollum. It's probably more on a par with the equivalent of 10% real life body fat.
The average college aged woman has 20-25% body fat, and the average college aged man has 17-22%.
The American College of Sports Medicine reccommends that professional athletes aim for 9-15% depending on their own specific discipline.
Less than about 7% body fat and your nervous system would probably stop working.
You're fine as you are, I'm sure.

Someday I'll get to shop the Men's Clothing section!!

From: Tod69 Talamasca Curious what mine is. At 5'1" & 98lbs, I'm no Arnold Swarzenegger. Someday I'll get to shop the Men's Clothing section!! There are various systems involving running a mild electric current through you that can give a reasonably accurate break down of body fat, lean tissue and water. If you do one of these, make sure they attach one electrode to your foot and one to your hand to get the best result (as opposed to those coin operated machines you see in airport toilets where you either stand on two plates or hold onto handles.) Men carry more fat on their upper body, while the opposite is generally true of women. Still, the most reliable method is still the good old body fat pincers. Your doctor can do this.

I was once told my av was fat, and actually worried about it for a while. Now, I dont care so much. I have a more realistic body on my AV because I think it is more attractive, if others dont well...its ok, I dont like the stick figures myself. If my av is fat...then toss me a cheezburgerz cuz I'd kill for the figure in RL!

In RL she would be about normal, proberly an aussie size 14 to 16.... in SL she is obese becuase so many avies are stick thin... but she is me and i her
