It was hard to decide, everyone did so wonderful. I liked everything I saw.
Just amazing designs and designers. The up and coming group are going to take the world by storm, all of them!

If you are not using the form he requested, there is a good chance your vote will not be scored.

im pretty sure he asked for it in that specific format so that he can automate the scoring or at least make it easier, hence the "This form only" part.

Heh, I wish it were automated. The reason I want the format followed is to avoid any ambiguities or confusion. Residents who deviate from it run the risk of having their vote disqualified. (Hate to be a stickler, but this will become important as the voting get more and more competitive.)

Kimmera Madison has been a resident since July, so she's a UAC. Apologies for the confusion. Any votes for her will go toward her in that category.

I think that just refers to in-game IMs, making someone IM him their votes all in one sentance makes it easier if he's say, collecting the votes via email (offline IMs).

Tipsy it was hardly that... we let people know what was going o and where to go to vote, not to vote for someone inpaticular... how many people buy your clothes, read the forums?
I talk to 100's of people a day and only about 1/8th of them even visit the forums, much less post in them.

Edited to add... if you are refferring to someone else and asking people to just vote for them then yes that is wrong... but unless you are in the forum clique you have a snow balls chance in hell in getting a vote.... I suggested to Asri to make people aware of the show... and to go and look at the designers, and encourage them to vote... most likely if they SAW what she is capable of they won't just pick a name off the most popular list!

...and as a disclaimer, I'm only voting because I was GOADED into voting (I rarely visit forums). Nonetheless, I stand by the fact that those ladies are incredible designers, regardless.

I would like to thank those who voted for me in the NWN Fashion Expo competition. Your support means a lot to me as a newer designer and I am honoured that you voted for me. However, regrettably, I am formally withdrawing myself from the voting competition. It has become clearer and clearer despite Hamlet's original posting of favoritism and popularity not being an issue that it in fact is an issue.
This competition is judging not who the best designers or most deserving designers are - it is showcasing designers based on their overall popularity, sphere of influence, their ability to ass kiss and to ask people to vote for them. I don't hold it against anyone and I am not referring to anyone in particular. This just is not my style as I am not an overly competitive person. I don't care about winning. I was honored enough to be nominated.

Jennyfur that is very honorable of you and so sad at the same time... there are so many great designers, and I will be bold and say your is by far better than those that claim thier work is "Hand painted" when you can find it in Poser, Renderosity and many other sites...

wow, I'm kind of offended I guess i'm not allowed to be talented and popular... or popular because of that?
I spent so long getting where I am today. on average is spend 2-4 hours on a single piece of clothing.
I think rumors have been spreading everywhere about this. but Torrid and I both have been playing since may 03--- We've both started from nothing and have built our popularity on our quality products, and good designs. ...you can disagree if you want but that's just how I feel..
I'm sure that I'm not the only designer who was offended by 'this turned into a popularity contest' accusation. yes, I'm friends with pommie. and a lot of other people who are voting, but I guess to some of you, I cant be a friend and talented. only people who don't know me can judge my skill.


This thread reminds me of a southpark episode with tweak's dad's coffee shop.. those of you who know the episode will understand

Thank you so much Sensual. I hope everyone understands that I am just not big on unscrupulous methods of garnering votes. I would rather have two people vote for me on the strength of their convictions and the quality of my work rather than 200 people vote because they are my friends or I asked them to vote for me.
