Some questions... First off, how do you figure that the Alliance Navy, Merczateers, and Cornera Coalition are the "Axis of Evil" when the AN and Mercz are at war with the CC, and the AN and Mercz are not allied with each other? Also, how, exactly, did the AN backstab the Mercz? And you think that a weapon that kills everyone in a sim is a new innovation? Ever heard of nukes? Freebie weapons can do what you said the Feds "developed".

And really now, the Germans and Feds being key players in an SL world war? You've got to be kidding me. The only two militaries in that list that are worth anything are the AN and the Mercz, and the AN is the stronger of the two. The rest, with the possible exception of Sparta, are pushovers.

Erm, last time I checked, all freebie nukes are are particle shows. And the Germans might be kicked out of UMF cause they greif too much.

And also, what's with all these comments CC's let out about "Helping AN pwn everyone?"

And I've been to the Mercz base recently. There was AN up the ass all over the place, and no conflict. Hell, I was shot by a Merczateer for arguing wtih some AN Marines, the official response was "Attacking allies."

And how did AN Backstab Mercz? The fact that they treat them like crap, and they prevented Mercz's entry into The Woofer.

And your egotistical comment = False. Last time I went near the AN base, someone autokilled me, proof of this is because I was behind Linden Ground, which I know for a FACT phantoms can't go through, and even if they were phantoms, that only provides more proof AN's getting desperate against an enemy that uses only damage bullets.

Also, Japan and Germany weren't officially allied in WWII.

An SL World War? Oops, must've been me.

Be sure to add my group in there, we're a key player in it. The following is a list of the main people in this "World War," their leaders, and their siding (In my opinion.)

AXIS OF EVIL

Alliance Navy, led by Jim Herbst
Merczateers, let by Lurdan Huszar
Corneria Coalition, led by Bam Apps and Belizin Epin

ALLIED ARMIES

The Grand Federation, led by me (Sergeant Griffith)
Sparta, led by Bruno Ziskey
The Republic of Germany, led by Tristan Mineff

Some Merczateers are thinking of displacing Lurdan as their leader...cause AN totally backstabbed them and Lurdan didn't declare war.

And it's more like a WWII cause the Feds have developed a weapon that can kill everyone in a PvP zone for a sim around. But, there hasn't been a war of this magnitude before.

(We've made a version so it won't affect people in no damage areas.)

Ah, excellent - thank you for identifying these groups. We'll ask the Lindens to keep a careful eye on every one of you. I know I will.

Just because AN and Mercz are no longer allied does not mean we're at war. We're neutral. And as such, we can visit each other, and not be in conflict.

CC has target dummies of AN and Mercz people. They are not helping us do anything, except maybe get more kills... against them. And we didn't backstab the Mercz with The Woofer. Mister Rodgers kicked them out of his own accord, with no prompting, persuasion, coercion etc. by the AN. This was made clear by us to the Mercz, and reconciled.

Linden ground can be crossed by objects. Object entry is enabled on the land, and we are not banned from it. We can shoot across it into our land on the other side of the road without fail. You need to check your facts on that. And how are we getting desperate? I don't think destroying you in every last battle we've had would make us desperate. I think you're the one who's getting desperate, shooting from a no-access SOCOM base with phantoms.

And Germany and Japan -were- allied during WWII. Check your facts, again. The Axis Powers were allies, initially Germany, Japan, and Italy in the Tripartite Pact signed on September 27, 1940.

Look stuff up before you pretend to know about them.

While I appreciate the military afficianados' right to pursue their interests in SL, the participants should keep in mind that they are a very tiny minority group within the SL citizenry, and that most people don't have any interest whatever in what group is "at war" with what other group so long as these conflicts are kept to the confines of damage enabled sims.

The art of war can be very entertaining and diverting, but please keep it out of everybody else's daily experience. Most of us simply don't like it and do not want to participate. Forced participation is the very definition of griefing.
