War In Jessie: Is It Upon Us?

Nick fairlight, Myself, Einsman Schlegel, ask any of those I just named why they dont come to jessie and they will give you the exact same reason. That reason is also why I am do ing my own combat system, for those who wish to have legitimate combat without flying and without minors. Also to get a leg up in the game development industry

I completely agree with this statement. Also, it's just not really fun anymore to combat in Jessie due to new technology being developed that prevents "fun" combat. I mean, who wants to go fight in Jessie if nothing can kill your enemies and they set up devices to kick you out before you can get off a shot?

Besides yourself the rest have not been into Jessie very frequently if at all in the past year, so I still fail to see where "vets" have left because of the new people in Jessie. The people who actually own land in Jessie has changed very little also so no new people have technically moved in.. Just different people hanging out in Jess. As I've said before good luck with Celina, though I doubt you'll be able to keep out the minors.... they're everywhere!!! >





I can see how the some of the defense systems would suck out the fun. When you claim on the forums your "going to take control of Jessie" tho, your going to be added to a couple of lists. I personally have never owned a turret or anything other than a gun with bullets (heh okay, watermelons too) & I don't want to either. Also, we can definately be killed... I have only seen ONE shield that has actually worked effectively in protecting an avatar from taking any damage. In other words, we take a bullet just like you.

People claim they have lots of devices to protect from bullets.

Also, just know more conflicts erupted today as a group finally has stood up to officially take responsibility of putting down those of WWIIOL. THey are called the Red Lotus and we'll see what comes from this now.

Mary,thats exactly my point. We arent going there any longer because of the minors problem and overall griefers. The reason you havent seen them is because of that crappy new residents.

Hey I think this maybe is getting out of control. It sounded really cool to have a war for a while but recent tensions between the sides have escalated to new heights. Why don't we fight the war to fight the war instead of killing an enemy or getting back at another's political views. Let's fight the war and use the somewhat weird ideals of an empty Jessie as our basis for fighting instead of getting back at another.

Both sides are discussing the issue and are outlining currently what can and can not be used/done during the battle. We'll let you know when this type of information is on paper instead of in someone's head and someone'e ears.

As for clearing out the WW2ers... I can pretty much do it anytime I want. I have done it, I just sit back and watch the chaos! As darwin said... it gets boring after about 10 minutes!

As for controlling a sim... I have such a weapon that works in damage and no damage sims!

In Jessie... as long as i'm in the server (sitting on my lawn chair) I can kick everybody out! In other sims... the TSO will kill ya! Don't do it!

ok first hand lemme run down what a war is like in Jessie for everyone.

First an invading party shows up there, then the aim bot turrets go up, then someone starts using bounce scripts, then a linden shows up mentions something about soap operas and vanishes, then the invading party just leaves, then Jessie residents go back home and play martha stewart some more.

Like a minor?

Err... all of our (besides the turrets) weapons are WW2 based, and fire non homing bullets. People who come in to the sim and fire explosions out of an M16 the size of a bomb going off make fighting people not fun.

All this talk about driving out the WWIIOLers is getting ridiculous... anyone remember back in beta? We came in and set up our little base in the Outlands. Bunch of people got ticked that they were getting shot in the Outlands. Lindens stepped in, made Jessie for US. We set up base in Jessie. We have been in Jessie since Jessie first existed. Do you really think a couple of people will be able to drive out 70-80 people?

LOL, how could you shoot me, I was in clyde Anyways I dont feel like fighting with a 12 year old, its lower then me, my 'chatlog' is about as accurate as anyone can put it.

I think this thread has proven that war for the sake of war, is the most retarded human endeavor ever undertaken.

Probably missed the point in the forum where I could say this, but if you make sure the WWIIOLers can have a few seconds to try to get away, you can kill them with turrets, but you have to be in the sim....according to Lee Linden, I know a few other lindens who need to get their facts straight.

As for unbeatable weapons, there are a few in game already, I've created one, and own a couple more, just have to know where to get them.

Im sorry but this is sad. What will you benifit from taking over jessie, NOTHING. noone of you own land there so you can put shit up there. If you prevent us from getting to our land your gonna get in trouble for it, so its pointless. This will all be over with in a few days just like the other 500 plots to get rid of us. Get a life.

Also, back then, the 'lifers' were also residents of Jessie.. I led the militia force against them... but such times are passed. I'm not 'chummy' with the WWIIOLERS, but we get along.


Now, there's something I'd like to say here. You all seem to have catagorized all of Jessie as 'Ruffian Griefing Minors'. Not all of us are like that... Certainly, some Jessians are, but applying the rule to everyone in Jessie is just plain unfair and rude. I live in Jessie, not because it allows more griefing, but because it allows for me to DEAL with griefers easily. JUst think about it, people.

EDIT: Oh, and Ryen, come off it, you're possibly the most obvious minor here.

Let me give you the rundown on what did happen with Ryen in Jessie. Or rather, towards Jessie, in Clyde.

I hear from some people in Jessie that Ryen and other people we're threatening to invade Jessie on the NWN forums, so I IM him about it. I ask him what's going on- and he starts bragging about how he can crush everyone in Jessie in an instant. No big deal, really... anyone script kiddie can if they get their hands on a big ol' bomb script. Not really hard to make, either.

He tells me he is coming to Jessie with an 'associate'.

I go up to the TechSol skylab and set my draw distance to a few hundered meters so I can watch this display without getting spawncamped. Ryen continually refers to his associate as some sort of subordinate or lackey. Ryen asks me if I 'had had enough yet'. I was kind enough to inform him that I hadn't died a single time. He tells me that he justs likes to 'f with me'.

Sure Ryen, go ahead and think you're playing mind games with me- I know that the most complex game you could ever play is 'Hungry Hungry Hippos'.

I later found out that the subordinate was noone other than Einsmen Schegel. Eins, buddy- when did you become this griefers whore?
