War In Jessie: Is It Upon Us?

It's funny how people refer to anyone regarding war a terrorist. I'm strongly against doing anything regarding to war in RL, however, SL is fairgame, why? maybe cause we can have some FUN with it maybe? Theres a difference between someone who, (especially in jessie) wants to have fun with his guns he/she creates, but DO NOT label someone as a terrorist, i find it very insulting.

you people are rediculous, you're quite clueless about life in jessie and quite clueless about war in jessie.

first off I'll tell you this, we have more allies then you would know.

second, I've personally lived in jessie for over a year now, I fight daily and have had plenty of "wars" there is no way you're going to drive anyone out of jessie.

most of you people dont even know us yet because you KNOWINGLY went into a damage zone and died you have some vendetta against us, a good rule of thumb is to EXPECT to die once or twice if you enter jessie and arent a regular or dont live there.

now then, war is good, you're welcome to make war, war is what we are afterall.

there are however guidlines to making war, both so that everyone has fun and dit doesnt become a nasty griefing festansd so that the lindens dont come down on your ass.

first off spawn camping (killing people at their spawn point effectively stopping them from spawning) iIS against the CS and will get you suspended, theat cuts turrets oput of the question much of the time as turrets would hit people at spawn.

you aswell cannot prevent a land owner or group member from accessing his land which turrets aswell do,naemly automatic turrets that you leave in place, and leaving turrets in jessie while you are not around or not actually making combat is aswell against the rules.

remember folks we havent been sitting on our asses we have weaopons aswell though there are rules governing these weapons. otherwise we would have simply had a bunch of turrets setup with which we could effectively ban anyone from jessie at a whim. aswell remember as we are the residents we have mo. re freedom to trackj you then us as it is illegal to prevent us using our land.

now then SL is a game, im sure you people dont pay to NOT have fun, so how about we try to make things enjoyable and avoid grudges which people like you with the same ideas have caused in the past,in tun CREATING the friction that has gone betweenSL and the WWIIOLers.

now then, if you people want to have fun then come to us ith regular direct fire guns,fight the fair way, fight like you've got a pair (even if you dont got a pair you know what i mean) if you come to start trouble and get people pissed and run away to your safe zones you will be disappointed, and dont go crying about it afterwards, you make your bed then you sleep in it.

if you come for a genuine fight gun to gun skill to skill, no cheap crap, shields and crap etc then ywe will all enjoy ourselves and you can earn some respect rather then star t a grudge.

things have gotten alot leess flamey in jessie lately, alot of people have dropped the the unreasonable aversion to tjessie and the wwIIolers and have found it enjoyable to hang out with us, we've made peace with many past enemies and alliances with groups we've been at odds with.

none of you people even live in jessie , you're simply looking for 5 minutes of fame, derek i havent even seen you in jessie since around august or september last year, now out of nowhere you're looking to attack me, grief me, and prevent me from using the land i pay for.

come on, fight like a man it'll be fun, i have since hte first use of trackers always tried very hard to encourage people to stick only to regular guns. in my year+ here ive had to use my turrets only a handful of times thankfully, im still there in jessie wielding my rusty old AK 47 as i've always been, you're welcome to come make yourselves the next in it s long line of victims if you come with good intentions

aswell if you want to wage war on us, perhaps it would be fair aswell that those involved enable damage on theirl and, allow us tpo take the fight to you same as you to us, because we dont live in jessie sitting around waiting to be punching bags for people to come around take a few potshots and just leave back to safe pansy land, that gets folks mad.

if you're gonna fight, then fight, and stay and fight and perhaps enable damage on your land so that we can reciprocate, and afterwards perhas stick around for fun...of course depending on your manner of arrival and combat.

so anyway, its your choice now, come for fun or come for trouble, either way there will be effects pn both sides, dont expect ot walk away like a movie and it just be "over" if you grief, and if you are lookign to do what so far i see you planning it sounds like you're looking to get a few weeks of suspension.

As you can clearly see, I signed my name to the end of my thoughts regarding the WAR in Jessie. Then, I followed with an "ohh...I just thought of an evil plan..."

That evil plan, as I mention in my last sentence, is more of a terrorist plot than a war plan. I say this because it involves sabotoging the sim rather than fighting the residents. Also, the plan involves a steady progression of poor performance, and relies on the perpetrators patience to see the plan fully realized.

So, Einsman, perhaps you would like to reconsider how insulted you are. I am insulted that you wouldnt take the time to read carefully before wanting to claim that I'm insulting you.

Lets see if it repeats -- I can see one scenario where a massive ship enters jessie -- someone hits it with a popgun, and all people sitting inside are teleported home (cursing 1.3) as the massive ships slowly spirals earthwards trailing smoke..

Seeings how I live just a couple of sims away this should prove very interesting to watch. I'll rez a few deck chairs and bust out the popcorn.

Cant, I have about 20 turrets (2 of which have homing bullets) on me in jessie Besides, nuking a sim from another sim is fun! (just FYI, it was no build, so we were in jessie flying around, taking a few shots here and there, then running back out.

Heh maybe true.. but there are ways to get around them, as I'm sure you know. Nukin us from another sim... not cool, not fun, you'll get no respect when you lag our sim & cower in Clyde. No mary, I used to care about jessie, now a bunch of noobs, minors, and overall lamers moved in and screwed the place up, im sorry if you dont see that alot of jessie vets have left because of this exact reason, but I do.

At one time, yeah you did... I don't see very many noobs at all, (no comment on the minors part) & lamers.. dunno who your referring to but thats your opinion & if you don't come to Jess because of that's your own business. I'd like to know what Jessie vets you are referring to.. Because most of the people I can think of.. that are still playing.. either still live in Jessie or pop in on occasion. Some may have quit sl all together, but you'll find that anywhere.
