Either way, someone needs to put them in their place. Drive them out into the real SL and out of their little controlled zone in which they think they're god.

Why are you so angry? I mean how many groups play in there "little controlled zone"? Well let's see:

1. Goreans
2. Escorts
3. 90% of people who own land

I mean if you own land or belong to a group it stands to reason that most of the time they will hang out on their own land. They can do as they wish just like every other person who owns land in sl.

Seriously, if you don't like getting shot don't go or go back with stronger weapons lol.

I seriously see no reason that griefers are bad. They bring us all together against them! Who cares if they make our lives miserable while in Second Life! In fact, if I could, I'd lag a sim too to bring us together!

I like how you can edit quotes :p

The two-year anniversary of this thread is almost upon us! We'd better start planning!

Whew! I thought we had lost this thread.

Hai, speaking of Jessie, Spin Martin owns alot of it now and is trying to bring it back to...it's original state of mass chaos? Mass chaos with flowering shrubs.

INGRID! You make me search for this damned thread, but you have allready found it! Curse on you!

And about Spin, he has taken over Jessie like some colonial invasion force, can we stand for that? I think not! Grab your Riffles my brothers and stop this insidious takeover and drive Mr. Martin back to where he came from! :D

I'm not impressed unless they are destructable flowering shrubs

The history of Jessie is a perplexing one, eh?

Where everything stands today:
26,656 sq m: owned by a certain Mr. Spin Martin
1,280 sq m: owned by a related group: The Jessie Inner Core (JIC for those keepin score)

Al Capone was quoted once as saying, "You can get further with a kind word and a gun, than you can with just a kind word."

And then I think he beat the living snot outta someone with a baseball bat, something I've seen one of my neighbors do to a Jedi. <3

The Jessie of today is being redeveloped into a variety of coherent places to engage the enemy du jour. It contains some residences, a weapons expo, and related shopping for the discerning miscreant. There are parcels that have been there since the beginning of time, some owned by people who have vanished without a trace, plus a good number of tiny 16 sq, parcels being reparceled into a coherent, squared off chunks. And dear god, please tell the SL Herald to turn on Auto-return. Purdy plz. plz. plz. plz.

There's a new airstrip that spans nearly 200 m (which is a great jaunt for those coming from Abbott's. The idea is to build something that spans genres and levels. Going from practically zero meters to 200 m +, with no fly enabled. Much of my inspiration came from the time I spent in Nexus Prime. And, to keep it interesting, chunks of land are reappearing in the old Outlands, with outposts in Stanford, Shipley and perhaps Hawthorne.

In this world of ours, we have a wide array of weapons. Swords. HUD weapons systems. Guns. Grenades. RPGs. Poison gases. Spirits of undead schmucks. Landmines. Cross bows. Big Point Sticks. You name it.

And while it's funny for about a minute and a half to whip out a HUD on someone who can actually aim a crossbow, it's not really much fun. My question, and perhaps challenge to you: Do you have a stone set that enables you to stand on the ground and engage an enemy with your bare hands?

So let's see where it goes. Build an enviro that lends itself to people who like historically-inspired war combat; inner city ghettos; underground sewage and toxic industrial facilities; forests; corporate towers that reak of filthy power and fine suits. Plus an airstip that blasts out over three Linden-owned void sims. (Bust out that CCC/TCS lurrrv, people)... And we also have a small group of folks that want to rebuild the Jessie wall. It's completely copiable. ;-) (Does anyone remember or have pics of it in its full glory?)

Sure, griefers will come. That's where they take their holiday. But for the Inner Core, Griefing is just another challenge in building. ;-)

In Jessie, we don't make the combat, we just make the combat better. Oh maybe I'm getting that mixed up with something else, dunno. But either way, come on by and say hi. If I'm at my home on the SW corner (Next to the statue of Achilles), I'll kick down a free SIG 552 made by a Mr. Sirlor Stonecutter.

The construction continues... pardon the mess.

I don't live far from Jessie - my concern is that the warfare has entered a stage where the use of submarines and aircraft may spread the fighting to my sim. Please advise.
