This thread is like my baby. The extremely stupid baby that I try my best to get rid of and/or kill but seems to still creep its head at me.

Dammit, people, this topic is overtaking us here! Surely there's something more we can say about Jessie, war, and the state of being upon us! Bump, friends, bump!

Okay if you say so.

You ever go to Jessie anymore, Hamlet?

Rausch and Jessie (as combat environments, in no way commenting on the lifestyles of some of the citizens, not even a certain rat in a parallel Second Life who lives there) are largely stale like moldy cheese to me.

Now, if there was a new continent that suddenly appeared with a radically improved combat system (in line with that HUD gadgetry) and we had spawnpoints instead of dying so frustratingly, THEN there might be war!

KEEP BUMPING!

Yeah, Torley baby, I peek at Rausch and Jessie from time to time. So tame! Should LL give several thousand free trials to another game dominated by hardcore historical wargamers, Civil War reenactors, or WTF?

There once was quite a bit of fun in that sim.

Perhaps in 1.7 when the HUDs become available, it will attract more gunslingers. I'd like to see my weapons updated when 1.7 comes out, it'll makes things definately interesting.

Yes I agree it would be extremely cool to have something like that and then wage a great war >:-) Then my followers will proceed to take over and declare leadership and run a society based on intimidation and threats, but they will come to find I really am a nice monkey leader with big guns :-P

Good God! This thread is still here?

I can't even remember the last time I looked at this. Must have been at least 8 months ago.

All of you that gripe about jessie and rausch must remember that everyone is a target there... I myself have just sat there and shot anything that came across the sim....Not saying i'd always hit, but i'd always try to :D Ususally its not just the WW2 guys, in fact they have almost disappeared for a long time now....After the griefing of several events sponsored by some hi-high peoples, they were the cause and banned, i'm sure some are back as other people, but now a days its been way too quiet in both sims.....i miss killing random flyers with my dual pistols ;.;

Hey Pypo! Us WWIIOLers are still here. Only a handful are left, though. :(

What we need are some good, ol' fashioned hostilities.

We're still around, like roaches in the wall. A good fight and we'll stream out like angry ants. :)

Last time I came in for a fight, it lasted 5 minutes until I was told to cease fire. That was a long time ago.

Army? we don't need no freakin' army!
11-14-2005 18:17
From: Derek Jones
I'm talking the possibility of an army of maybe 20 people going in, killing all the WWIIOLers, setting up some safeguards like turrets in linden owned land (so they can't be deleted), and continue an occupation of Jessie.

20 people is a squad, not an army, son
