From: Camille Serpentine You'll forgive me, of course, if I take your statements with a grain of salt. For someone who was so vehement in their ideals, seeing an abrupt change of view from you is more than slightly unbelievable. It's not unbelievable once you get to know me. I assimilate knowledge like a sponge absorbs water. In order to do this I have to be able to reevaluate my own beliefs and correct them to match a logical framework as it's being constructed. ~Ulrika~

~Ulrika~ In other words.... she's a flip-flopper! For shame!

~Ulrika~ So basically you go with the majority and don't form your own opinion? From the vehemence you used to get a SL government in the past and the convoluted thinking paths you used to justify one, I cannot see this happening. The ability to absorb information does not imply you have a logical framework. Like a sponge, not every important drop gets absorbed, and it is all to easily squeezed back out.

Like a sponge, not every important drop gets absorbed, and it is all to easily squeezed back out. Don't force the analogy. It was tenuous enough without the additional extrapolation. If you lack the capacity to believe that humans can change, let me comfort you by describing areas where I do not change. My beliefs are based on reason and my convictions are guided by fraternity, liberty, and equality. Through my beliefs and convictions I seek the optimum path to affect positive change in the political realm. Whether my action is popular (poking fun at the forum troll du jour) or unpopular (organizing a boycott), I stand by my decisions as being right for me at that time. ~Ulrika~

Ah thanks Ulrika, In so many past threads you pushed the idea of a government in SL. Unlike you I cannot change my beliefs so easily.
