Its funny how you can read something that is about one thing then twist it around into something else so that you can attack the person who said the first statement. This whole thing really started out about how you can get suspended for something so small but before that message got through most people only saw the negative part of it. Yes I called someone a bitch and got suspended for it. But I only wanted to show everyone how easily you can get suspended under the Linden rules. That is all I didnt think it would get into what all that happened or if it was even important cause the root was the suspension part and how stupid it is that you can get suspended for something so small like in TSO. But many just want something negative to talk about like in the real world. So this is my last post and to correct all that got twisted from one person to another. So here twist this if it can twist any more then it already has.

Mex, I think this thread shows perfectly why you got suspended. It's pretty obvious that it's a pattern and not a one time language slip up. The only way you know how to handle confrontation is to come out with every bit of profanity you know. I suppose after enough people complain of being verbally harrassed by you, the Lindens will take action. So Lindens, hat's off to you. Well done. |

There for all you that cant see my small text Question: Did you honestly believe, after admitting you got suspended for calling someone a bitch, that anyone would side with you? You do the crime, you do the time. It sounds as though there are other haressment issues going on, as well as an utter lack of respect toward women, and a maturity issue. While the first post was probably a mistake on your part, you still could have used damage control by conceeding that you did something wrong, were sorry for it, and that you can now see that if you get up in someones face, there is a very good chance of being reported. People come in to Second Life to have fun, not to be treated like crap or disrespected (well..very few come for that). If you can't solve issues with someone calmly or maturely, put them on ignore and go about your merry way. Also, you can use the vote function to boot an officer, if you have the support of others in the group, or if it's just you two left. Or you could just leave the group yourself and let her have it all to her lonesome.

When you got suspended for breaking them, you come and whine in the forums. What do you expect? Are you somehow so much better than everyone that you should have special rules, where you can do or say whatever you want without consequences? Get real!
