So since SL is privately owned and we the residents are the ones taht keep it going we should have to life by the rules that are set for us when there is a limit on age to play. Then why not let teenagers play? They will pay just as much as adults to play a game. It's all about money slap Lindens in the face with a couple millions see how much you will get away with. But yes I did do something wrong but its not like I used the F word or something more offencive. Bitch is not even concidered a sware word cause its meaning is a female dog and I was really describing someone a female as acting like a female dog and I got punished for it. So if someone is acting like something and you call it careful it will be offencive cause of the way SL is setup to make RL look like a freedom while Second Life is made it look fancy on one side but dirty on the other. Again, The word bitch in and of itself is innocuous..when you use it with certain underlying tones it can and will be considered harrassment. You can say all manner of words in real life....Go to a fine dining establishment and call the waitress a bitch and you will be thrown out....go to the bank and call a teller a bitch and you will be thrown out.....see where this is going? |

Again, The word bitch in and of itself is innocuous..when you use it with certain underlying tones it can and will be considered harrassment. You can say all manner of words in real life....Go to a fine dining establishment and call the waitress a bitch and you will be thrown out....go to the bank and call a teller a bitch and you will be thrown out.....see where this is going? However, you can go on the flip side and say... "Talen is my biotch." and it's all good.  _____________________

But okay this thread has gone all over and far from what I wanted. Look I got suspendeed for calling someone a bitch. What will happen when you call someone a bitch and they use it agenst you?
 And about the restrant thing.... NO! LOL you make me sound like a little kid I know what the word means and how it can be used. So would you go to a restrant and call you waitress a bitch? HELL NO! So dont think that I would. C'mon people we are adults lets think like adults even though some arnt as mature as others even if im half way in the pool with the less fortunite less mature few. I think the answer is: you can't. I don't think a Linden flew by, heard you calling someone a bitch, and said "You're out." Instead, what happened is somebody you were in a drama and an argument with reported on you. And THAT is the problem, that there are people in this game whose real and virtual lives are so miserable that they have to call out the dogs on someone over a silly thing like being called a bitch, just to have a sense of power. Sheesh. That sucks. I wondered why all your houses and businesses were so quiet the last few days. That is just not fair, and yet another reason why we need to fire the Gods here... But...dude...Seriously, call me a bitch, heck I *am* a bitch, but...could you look into taking that seriously ugly yellow THANG out of the sky in Cayuga? I'm going to hold my tongue about your huge red building with giant legs thrust into the river canyon -- yes, I'm not going to even comment on that giant red box in the colour of the font you use here, inversely LARGE to a precise ratio as your font here is *weeny tiny*. But... ...That thang that says 3rd Life and is some kind of giant mall floor or store or something with fashion or whatever in the sky? The, um, sky? I mean, a big mofo thing like that does NOT belong in the sky -- and I mean, does NOT. It belongs on the ground where customers can see it and buy stuff -- I think, but that's just me. Since you are not trying to sell the land underneath it through an extortionist practice like *ahem* some other people I could mention in that exact same neighbourhood -- and you know who you are Rhymes-With-Prancin'-InDa-Sheets -- well, what's up? Could I help you find a nice commercial lot for rent or sale very reasonably priced with high traffic where you could put that yellow THANG? The reason I ask, is that this guy wanted to rent my land near the yellow THANG but he wondered, like, what is that yellow THANG? _____________________

So sorry no cant move it. I dont think theres anything wrong with my "box" up in the sky its out of the way where people wont go peeking and its hovering over my store where people do shop. I have called some people in the forums things but never once in world have I called anyone a name nor harrassed them...in real life I dont waste my time name calling ...people tell me I have a very intimidating look that takes care of any problems I should have. Harrassment is the issue not the word bitch.... No one asks to be harrassed and that is obviously the issue here you just refuse to believe it. |
