As a result of this issue, I have applied for work at Hanes, Jockey, Victoria's Secret and Calvin Klein. I feel my qualifications have been augmented greatly by this thread and the others related to it. Wish me luck!

SVU isnt as good as the regular L&O though =P Actually I prefer it to the regular for some reason. I like the role Ice-T plays in some of the episodes, although I don't think that's why I prefer SVU overall. _____________________

I'm just waiting to see what comes of it all - Just to see if there is consistancy to some of the rulings that come down on high.
For instance - on of the alter egos of the infamous trickster Grimmy Moonflower pulled a prank very similar to this, and was banned (for 3 days I believe - I'm not sure). If this is the precedent then it will be interesting to see if something similar is enforced. If it isn't then we can extrapolate that crime and punishment in SL does indeed depend on 2 'whos' 1. Who the prankster is... and 2. Who the victim is. Not so much what was actually done. I sympathise with many of the people who were offended, and agree with most of them. And there are a few who I will remember to tell, the next time they post a diatribe about a flaming cross - that it is only art -- and the next time someone uses a particular racial slur that its really their fault for having a non-white avatar. Yep... that just about covers it. Signing out on this thread - unless someone says something REALLY stupid that is just too hard to resist. Siggy. Plenty of things that go on in the world of SL is not looked upon greatly RL. Thats why its a game people. Hell, I know 18 yr old players buying the company of an "escort" Hmmm.... Hookers are only allowed in what? 2 states in america.. and dont you have to be 21?!? This is just not smart. I mean, he was taking pics of PIXEL PANTIES?!? I think you'll find the majority of the complaints aren't about WHAT was done, but how it was done.
If you go to a strip club in a mature sim - you pretty know what to expect.. But if someone swoops down on you and jumps all over you and sprays you with the latest 'jizzmaster 2000' while you're trying to build -- thats another thing entirely. Siggy. _____________________
