Yeah --I'm so stupid --I didn't know that, Lordfly.

We already have an anarchist sect working diligently to bring down the experiment --talk to Talen Morgan about it.

That was uncalled for and certainly not true....

Is your party not truly anarchist then?

While the Costume Party agrees with many of the ideals and goals of the Anarchists, it would be narrow minded and naive to lump us all into the same broad category. The Anarchists are much too seriously minded for us Costumers.

The Anarchists are committed to the destruction of any government. The Costume Party merely wants to mock and to make light of any government that dares to reveal and propogate its own hypocrisy (which they all eventually do..).

Isn't it more hypocritical to join a government just to make sport of it as unncessary? Why not just enter the city as tourists and make fun of it? That would make more sense to me.

Actually Pendari and I started the Moderate Peoples Party. I believe you know this as well as you saw the thread.

Your statement leads me and possibly others to believe that you believe I intend to do no more than ruin the experiment with due dilligence and that is certainly not true.

I have done nothing but offer suggestions and argue points in hopes of making this experiment the best it can be for all involved.

and YOU stated names don't matter --silly me, I took you at your word.

Did your party not begin as an anarchist party? I was simply pointing out to Lordfly that we already had an anarchist party and referred him to you as a possibly interested party member --if we do not currently have an anarchist party then I would invite him to join the projekt and form one. Why so defensive?

We'd rather shake the tree and see what coconuts fall out from within, and not standing on the sidelines as a tourist.

So suggest to the only other officer of the Neualtenberg group to hurry up and offer me citizenship so that we can really start seeing the coconuts flying.

You ain't seen nothing yet, honey-bunchy...

This is between you and her now, baby-cakes.
From my perspective, however, you began this as an outside agitator --and for some reason think that ignoring common standards of courtesy qualifies as a political statement. I think your agenda would have been better served with a bit more honey and alot less vinegar.

Running into a china shop with a sledgehammer and then asking where the most fragile stuff is kept is probably a bad way to seek participation in the workings of the store.

The Costume Party doesn't give a rat's turd how you think it all tastes.

Either you are all for inclusion and dissent, or you're not?

Which is it, sweety-pie?

BINGO!!!!!

You have hit the nail squarely on the head.

It shouldn't be between her and anybody. But apparently it is...

No it shouldn't be. But I believe you share that responsabilty.
Yes --I know you've apologized --and I'm happy that you did.

I'm sure this will all pan out as soon as things cool down.

Let's all remember this isn't a conspiracy to take over SL. It's actual people trying to have some fun doing what they enjoy. If we proceed from that perspective, I believe we can all work this out.

And I don't seek to ruin the exeriment either. I merely want this little exercise in self-government to wake up and see where its all currently going down a self-serving rathole.

If your stance has changed, I apologize.
When you joined it was with the stance that you were playing some sort of anarchist position to keep things shaken up. Perhaps ruin was too strong a word to echo from Lordfly's post -- I should have replaced it with "Keep on it's toes"

What's that noise?

Oh, it's just the sound of foundations cracking.

The Solitary Monarchy of Kojima would officially like to recognize and support the Costume Party, though we choose at this time not to throw our lot in as we feel it constitutes an unhealty recognition of the shall-be-unnamed rogue nation it seeks to call to task.

Definately want to keep it on its toes....anything else bores me. Although my true calling is Anarchy I've decided a more Moderate stance is required so I can wield my baseball bat for all the people.

The city will have two phases. A project management phase and a self-ruled phase. The fundamental goal of the city is to preserve the snow sims by building a compelling destination for all members of SL. We are doing that through architecture (the city plan and structures), culture (art, church and music services, and events), and politics (a service-based government). Recently we have made tremendous progress towards that goal, by finishing beta architecture, laying the foundation of a government, and creating our own vendor system to track our economy. When things stabilize, the plan is to replace the project-management hierarchy with an hierarchy comprised of productive citizens.

During the project-management stage Kendra and I have the right to bring in members who we feel will contribute to the project in one of the three areas of interest and to eject members who are obstacles to reaching our goal. During the self-ruled phase the constraints will be considerably less.

Thus, as one of the project managers with a real timeline and concrete goals, I have to ask myself will Ace Cassidy contribute to this process or will he be a hinderance to it. In my opinion the best that could happen is that you will grow bored with trolling and become a silent partner. The worst that could happen is that your actions could impede the progress of this project and cause the team to fail. If I'm wrong, then convince me otherwise.

Most new members of the group join by introducing themselves, showing us what the can contribute, and discussing what they'll do. Do you have any skills aside from creating satirical parties and name calling in the forums that we might benefit from?

If I have to convince you of my worthiness for inclusion, then I have already made my point.

I can script like a mad scientist, have tons of textures and imagry already loaded into SL, and know how to build things that aren't nearly as ugly as some presidential libraries. See Asylum Cassidius for evidence of all of these attributes.

If you don't want this all, then please continue on with your exercise in "mental masturbation". I will continue to watch with much bemusement that comes at the SDF's expense.

If you dare to invite me in, then let's swap some tongue, Ulrika... I bet your's is a tasty one.

hehe... Why do I have this image in my mind's eye from the scene in Lord of the Rings where the Elves come marching in, ready to kick some ass, only this time, there are just as many in Bozo masks, ready to make war too?

Ulrika didn't ask you to prove your "worthiness". She asked you if your intent was to help or hinder. So which is it?

Frankly I think your intent is to act like such an asshat we won't invite you in.
Sorry to burst your bubble, toots. Come on in. I find you as about as dangerous to the project as a flea is to a wolf.

Yeah --come on in --you've got your invite right from me. What you don't have right now is my personal respect.

I would say that it is to help. Ulrika probably sees it otherwise.

But then... I can't speak for her any more than you can.
