In Chapter 12 Article 1 Section 3 Subsection 6 Line item 14 of the "What is automatically funny in a web forum" guidelines at www.fetedinnercore.com, it clearly states that out-of-context references to childhood television shows that no one's remembered for years clearly meet all requirements for humor.

1. *I* made the FIC bear. From Scratch. By myself. Without having a copy of the Linden Bear. Without the Lindens knowing (or caring) that I was doing it. No favoritism involved.

2. The FIC bear is FREE to copy/modify/transfer. You can grab a copy from anybody that has one, or you can go to Stoneself's exhibition and grab one for yourself.

You know, that brings up another point, if FIC are so Linden-savvy, and Prokofy is pissing off the FIC with the "truth", how come Prokofy isn't banned from SL or at LEAST the forums? (although that second one might be a good idea)

Easy. Because people who care about SL also care about freedom of speech.

I for one have seen Prok tout the occaisional well-summarized, logical, unhostile thoughts on the forum. I want to see more of that Prok; I don't want Prok banned.

I was thinking of scripting mine to:
- Say things to people and make conversation (including newbie FAQ)
- Rez cubes on command
- Hug on command
- If you click the script too much, explode in a cartoony charred post-TNT Wile E Coyote fashion.

I already said that I think the guy is intelligent, and you're right he can put some well-thought out ideas together, but when it comes to discussing things like the FIC. I don't think things like clinical paranoia are totally impossible.

But when he want's to say something NOT about the FIC and even sometimes about the FIC, yah he's an intelligent guy. I just wish he wasn't dedicating his so much time to all these outlandish and weird-ass posts about the FIC taking over.

No names were named. (certain person) could have just as easily been Aimee Weber of Philip Linden. In fact, to this point no one has even explicitly stated who the "certain person" is.

And, even if you believe one person is imagining the whole thing, it's a valid expressable belief that can be stated so in the forums when someone has been ranting and raving and making attacks all over the place for the past few months. There is 100% nothing wrong with stating the belief that the FIC is only in Prok's imagination. To argue otherwise trounces over our freedom of speech.

I said Prok needs professional help for two reasons:
1. By saying that making cute bears that was a trend started by the Lindens is an FIC conspiracy, that to me is a sign of severe paranoia.
2. Saying someone is "off their meds" is a common and fairly innocuous phrase.

Hmmmm - am wondering if Schwan needs professional help cause of his sheep thingy, or Darko for his smoke thingy - or any number of us for any number of addictions we so proudly admit to here on the forums.

Why do we take Prok so seriously?

Having met Hiro in RL, I can say, without a doubt, that his better half needs professional help and is off her meds!
