I feel like the neg queen

Honestly, I have to step in and say I believe this. hehe.. There is NO love lost between myself and Angel (and anyone who has known me knows this to be true.. ). But I can at least be truthful enough to admit that Angel *always* has reasons for her Negs. They may be disputable.. one may think she is off her rocker.. but one thing I have never seen is her just do "fly by negs just for standing there" And really never a target of newbies either. Not with herself.. not with her alts. Not that I've ever seen.

Just my thoughts..

I saw her flyby neg a bunch of folks at the Aqua Mall one night last year. Star being among them. What was Star doing? Shopping.

That aqua mall situation, Angel was trying to make customers think about where they were shopping.. who they were doing business with.. Or something to that affect. She had an agenda basically..

NO! I don't think Angel was right. But honestly, at least all of her negs tied into something that made some kind of argument.

OK, then, Dana/Angel, perhaps you would be good enough to clue me in as to why you accosted my friend and neg rated him three times each? It certainly couldn't be because of him, because he was charming and friendly when you first appeared at his house. In addition to which, you said you were giving him the neg rates I "deserved."

And since I don't know you from Adam, and don't remember any conversation which involved any malicious actions or statements against you or your business (which I don't even know what it IS), maybe you would like to tell me what this hideous crime was that caused you to neg rate my friend, the new player? Out of the blue? Along with 3-4 of your buddies, or perhaps yourselves? And laugh at him? And give him a rotten image of the game?

I'm curious. My memory isn't perfect at remembering every little thing I ever said about anything anywhere, so, what was it? Cause you know, I don't even KNOW you.

The Aqua mall situation is where I found that the owner of said mall was doing some very low down business concerning the mall's retailers. I at the time and admittedly wrongly neg rated some of the more supportive retailers one morning at the mall in question. Maybe 6 people with up to 3 negs each. I left the area and did not return. About 10 minutes later an avatar named by most accounts 'Angel' 'something?' showed up in the area and proceeded to neg rate almost every retailer in the mall. In the following hysteria, driven by the mall owner, MANY people decided I neg rated them. Most were simply wrong. In the past 12 months I have had several former retailers and associates of this mall's owner approach me and let me know that they found my accusations then to be true.

With Violet being a possibility, granted I don't have any proof of that just conjecture. But I would point out if you look at the Negs given of all 5 of these people, they're almost identical. As well as all the profiles have the same sort of one sentence pattern (save for the main of course, Angel Leviathan).

I'd also noticed (with no proof of this either besides my word) that when the group neg ratings of a friend of mine started that Violet had logged off wheresa she had been on before it started. I could also point out that Violet and Angel don't ever seem to be on the boards at the same time. Also Angel responds to violets threads but not the other way around (why bother after all because then you'd just be getting in a conversation with your self).

Not to mention funding here, since 190 negs is no laughing matter financially, a 2 month old newbie would be hard pressed to come up with 5250L$ for neg rating, not to mention any clothing or objects she would buy (and by her profile picture she has bought something). Angel has plenty of money from having old time accounts where they gave bigger stipends as well as having a semi-successful store.

One thing a friend of mine pointed out as curious when she got group negged was that, Angel mentioned to her on one of her alts after the negging that she couldn't neg for more than 5 alts without breaking the rules and that's why she couldn't neg anymore, but since she had only negged with 4 of them, that begged the question to be asked, who's number 5? When she asked about this and pointed out Violet, she suddenly became a lot nicer and retracted all the neg ratings.

If anyone has some succinct proof otherwise i'd be willing to apologize for that, but until then i'd stand by my opinion on the matter.

Oh and thanks for the Negs Archu/Andy/Angel/Dana, but like i'd said earlier if you want to waste the money neg rating me that's fine, they don't mean anything to me personally.

That is the crew, Artemis, that neg-rated en masse my new friend, the new player, when they couldn't find me.

I guess I will just have to go to my grave wondering why.

P.S. Yes, I was wondering why no one mentioned the financial aspects. Everybody keeps saying that they don't really mean anything, but I think they do mean something financially, especially to a new player such as my friend.

Well I mean not so much the financial aspects of people losing money on negs, I don't really even know how that works anymore. But the financial aspect of it costing 25L$ for each neg rate she gives, totally out to a price that's way more than a newbie should have. (Especially one who seems to generally spend all her time harrassing the general community).

I guess at this point there's a lot of reasons for Violet to be one of the Angel's infamous alts, but I haven't seen a whole lot of reasons from Dana that she's not.

Seems the way Violet rates is similar to Angel as well, that is if you can't find the person then neg rate their friends.

I don't think she's mentally ill, but i'm sure there's some reasons for all this that a psychologist would have to pry out.

Either way i'd say that there's not a WHOLE lot of people who neg rate with such reckless abandon in SL (actually only her not counting Violet since it's still under debate whether or not they're even different people), and there's a lot of similarities that would need to be taken into consideration.

Now at this point I have decided its a severe weakness to be associated with alot of neg rates so again for a time I will discontinue the practice with all accounts, no matter how painful. People in the past have imitated me thru "similar" action to pin crimes on me that I did not commit. This is the case in this instance I feel.

I understand how neg rates royally F%$k up your day. Thats why they are given, probably because at some point you F&%Ked up someone else's day. It's abuse in response to abuse. After a time some of us may lash out more aggressively than others. It's not right. None of it is but its just one big cycle and when some want to get off others are just hoping on. This place of ours has no clear history and games are played within our "game" and sometimes we share deeper emotions, ideas, and dreams and the games feel real and people can be hurt. There has to be a point where people move on and let go and teach the next generation of SLr that it can be different, but much like RL I doubt the path to that utpoian difference will ever be realized. I do know that I can withdraw as quickly as I can pounce and so I will for now, let it go.

Finals week, been studying for the last 3 days almost non-stop, only stopping for half an hour breaks every few hours where i'd post on the forums and watch a TV show. Just finished my finals today, glad it's over with! phew!
