I feel like the neg queen

Well I feel like I need to clear a few thing up regarding the wonderful thread that was started about me and my negatives. First, I see that some people think I am someone's alt, I am not. Secondly, I do not hide in corners and neg people. If I give someone a negative they will know. Third, I do not neg rate newbies, I wait at least til there a few weeks old rofl. So take my negs however you like. If I don't like you it's my right to neg you. Just think of me as the queen, I knight you with my negatives.

You do realize that you've wasted $L15,000 (or $US 60.00) on neg rates, right?

And that they aren't permanent?

you're free to neg whoever you want for whatever you want. your interpretation of what deserves one is up to you, of course. i just think the general feeling is its a bit unfair and discouraging to noobs. until they learn otherwise, they might think it means something

I just think it's funny that whenever you seem to neg rate, (edited) just happen to pop up and join in, not to mention that you suddenly feel it's appropriate to log off during all this, and only log on when it's over. ^_^

I guess it's just a big coincidence. Also that (edited) and you have almost the exact same amount of neg rates given.

Go figure, what a world of large coincidences we live in.

I mean.. isn't getting all of SL to hate you a form of attention? And getting whiners like me to post about it 'cause I can't get over it. Isn't there a satisfaction in "effecting" so many people? Especially hurting them with something that they, themselves dont' care about? I mean what's more important... someone's feelings are making lindens?

I should not let my feelings effect what others do in SL. My only confusion lay with TOS. I thought it was against it.

I'll bet that too few people are reporting this and getting revenge instead.

Waiting for confirmation on TOS conflicts. Seems it was originally set up as a rating system. You gave "positive" rates for good behavior and reward. Why say you give negatives as a gift... well I'm not sure if it's illness or stupidity, but I'm sure it's just lying.

I thought mob neg-rating WAS against the ToS. So if her and her alts all neg rate one person, even if given a reason, would that be against the ToS? oops..forgot she is immune..my bad..

Apparently if it's with no more than 5 alts it's okay, I didn't actually bother to look though.

I and everyone at a club today got 3x negative ratings by another neg ratings queen, he rushed in, did the dirty deeds then he logged off. Must have cost him a fortune! So don't feel unique you're not the only one

Yup. Apperently its fine as long as you mass neg-rate with only 4 alts. Unfortunatly Violet did a mistake and negged me with 5. She acted fast to retract it, but... too late.

We'll see how Abuse is going to eat that one.

2 years and finally doing a mistake.

I was just at the Welcome Area and the person in question just gave a new person a neg rating for no reason at all. They had never even talked to one another. Try explaining to a new person in tears how it will all be better in 6 months and it doesn't really mean anything. I explained to her that the person in question is a very sick individual with no control over her own actions and she felt somewhat better.

I want the Lindens to do something about this. Peer pressure means nothing to someone in the throes of a major mental illness.

Oh come on. You may dislike what she does but don't throw about accusations of mental illness as a reason. Thats bullshit.

She might be bored rigid and find it fun. She might be fucked off to the back teeth with LL and taking it out on their customers to get attention. She might just think it's funny to see all these people crying about three little numbers on a profile. But being nasty with neg rates doesnt make you mentally ill, for fucks sake.


Btw... I would have thought I'd be stating the obvious here, but since no one else has grasped it, I figure it's not all that obvious to some....it's not mob neg rating if there is only one person behind all the avatars. It's a single opinion, and an allowed number of accounts.


I'm not sticking up for anyone here, its just people round here really do talk some crap at times.

It seems to me that this is a person who is doing something that was allowed by the people who coded the game. If neg rating was not meant to be used, then it should never have existed.

So many threads posted about the Linden need for rating. Is there any part of the program worth keeping!? GET RID OF RATINGS! Even with the 6 month price increase fix, it is just abuse waiting to happen. Come on LL...what is the current purpose of rating?
