Gaming Dwell System?

Mmmm, alright. I am posting here although I am in no way affiliate with Club Elite. But I feel something go wrong here.

I still remember the first day I logged into these forums here when I was newbie and joined Second Life in March. It was full of flames coming from older players about that new and bad club called Club Elite. After reading all the flame I believed that Club Elite must be newbie scamming evil place of doom.

Well, I went to some other places some "established" players had recommended me to go to instead and while I found the owners of those places nice and friendly people, they were all dull and empty. They were not striving. But Club Elite was full of life because hard working crew put a lot of effort into building a place providing fun for many people. Club Elite was the most successful place in Second Life that for more than 6 months provide community and entertainment to many people, including those who can not build or script or engage in philosphical literature lesson events. It has been the first club that persistet and did not vanish after some short initial hype.

I also got to know BJJ as friendly boy, nice to be with, nice to do business with, never seeing him bitch or whine or talk bad about his competition.

So I think it is time for one big thank you, in the name of the vast majority of Second Life players, newbies and people who just like enjoy the game and not engage in drama on forums, I want to thank BigJohn, Ana, all the crew of Club Elite, all the dancers, may they still be at Elite or elsewhere. Please keep up great job you have been doing. The many people who every day visit Club Elite proof day after day after day how valuable content you provide and how you help grow Second Life. Also one big thumbs up to all the other club owners and staff in Second Life, you provide much needed and excellent content to our virtual world.

If anyone here think anybody exploit or do things against TOS, please report it to Linden Labs. If bored, maybe better flame "La Baronista" again instead of poor people in clubs Or even better, log into Second Life and enjoy the game

I was commenting on the accusations in the article on SL Herald - and the statements made by BJ in the comments. As far as the RL money fraud, BigJohn is being paid USD by Linden Lab as a reward. That is what I was referring to.

Yes, BigJohn created a successful club, originally in conjunction with Tanya Garcia and now you. No one is disputing that, and the club has been rewarded financially over and over and over again. What people get sick of is the gloating, and this bullshit rhetoric that SL would die without Club Elite, or that it is so important. Pride goeth before a fall, remember that the next time you and your betrothed post about deserving credit and pride. There is nothing wrong with taking pride in hard work - flaunting that and expecting others to somehow be impressed by that is entirely different.

Different people measure success differently. You are successful by the measure of dwell. Whether Club Elite is something to be proud of, with prostitution, sex rooms, et al.. is in the eye of the beholder, no matter how many times BJ posts how important he is to SL. The question of whether things are being done to artificially maintain that oh so important spot at the top for John's ego is a perfectly valid question. If you aren't doing anything wrong, you have nothing to worry about.

Anshe is most certainly not BigJohn. That is the most amusing thing I have read in this thread though, thank you. Anshe is a cutthroat businesswoman who will do whatever she has to to dominate her market. BJ is a cutthroat club owner who will do whatever he has to do to dominate his market. They share that in common, along with delusions of grandeur and narcissitic personalities, but Anshe is by far the bigger success financially. BJ owns an island. Anshe owns half of SL.

Why do you keep expecting people to thank you? Is the hundreds of dollars a month you receive from LL, combined with the constant stream of people coming to your club not enough validation for you? They provide a thank you to you all the time. You are certainly seeking it in the wrong crowd, and you should never do something expecting praise for it - that is the wrong motivation to do anything.

This is entirely too humorous reading. I know for a fact that on my first day at the Welcome Center I received the 'tag' and the teleport. I posted my question after almost 2 weeks inworld, at SLUniverse for the knowledge base, about how to get rid of the tag ! Do you remember that Cris?

Chris you such a jerk man, I do what it takes to help pay for club land cause everyone is not rich to pay high cost land and as other post goes about how sl has pay me money, yes this is true I did make little money but all of it every $$$$$ went back into club for sim and not once did i take that money from account for any rl use from outside of sl game.

When I say do what it takes mean by running a club like it should be run like any rl one would be done and that is with out cheating like some ppl trrying to say we do and with out control of our dancers like some has said.

Elite has not made alot of money that was use for anything but club its self me and ana easy been out way over 400k to 600k just for club and that is for events and payroll for workers that may be on basic accounts and helps them to make some money.

I do not make anything and all i do is put out way more for ppl then myself and this is true and Elite money is not as strong it use to be and if I was making a killing from this game would you not think I be on leader boards for money part?

We do this cause we love the club and ppl comes there not for any kind of market stuff.

Yup...first 5 minutes in SL I was tagged, Bagged, And shipped out. I was a VIP

I was tagged by Big John himself. No one talked to me just pop ups in the window that I happily clicked on because hey ...I was a special person ...a VIP. Then after I went back to the welcome area I was rinsed and repeated by whatever beach club it was and someplace else.

Hmmm, I don't think so my friend we stop letting anyone in member vip long time ago and we just don't take anyone.

When me and Tanya ran elite we had to deal with alot of lies just like now on forums and we got hurt over alot of stuff was said about club and us and we had to get all new ppl from welcome area just to make new memberlist so we could get club off the ground and this was way before open of elite and we did what it took to promore the club like any rl place.

Elite has change in alot of ways from start and we learn what was best and what was not this is calling learning from things you do in life and ideas how to make this work even better.

Before you sit here and talk bad about me or this club more like you may had did something at elite and got ban for it or whatever it may be that cause you to hate us but one thing I do know that we don't tag new ppl anymore and we was force back then to go after new ppl just make new group of ppl that would show us support.

Most of that group is now old players in sl and has alot of stuff going on for there self and other thing some of top ppl in this game has work for elite at one time and this is how long we been here my friend.

BJ, he started in April. I somehow doubt he would make up his experience as a new player. I am sure the forum would overflow with people stating that they were invited to your club in the welcome area upon starting. Somehow Talen and others are more credible in this regard than you are.

Tanya did help alot that is true, but Club has not done this good till me and Ana took it over and Tanya in no way i want to talk bad about her, but some things club need to have I could not run it that way cause she got real mad over other girls and did not even like me in anything pass shorts in sl game.

Elite got better cause of new ideas and the way things was done all over and got all bad ppl out and good in.

Tanya was pay very well for all work she had done for me and let me make this very clear.

I don't know you John or know anything about your club because I've never actually met you and I was only in your club for a little bit....so to say I am one of the people that hate you is stupid...because I don't hate you or your club.

Don't waste your time. That is BigJohn's strategy for dealing with any criticism, or when you counter what he says with a fact. He just says "Aww ur one ppl talkin shit bout Elite". Translated, that means "I have no justification so I will try to divert attention by claiming that you are lying". It is a pattern he has followed forever, you aren't going to make any inroads now.
