I received it, too. Ignored it, mainly because it didn't sound right (and because I am hardly a "power user".... lol

From: Zuzi Martinez no one can get your password by having your email address unless they can read your email too...... Oops! Yes, that's right. Sorry, I was up far too late last night. I too am curious why the email was so misleading and sugar coated. It's why I was suspiscious of the email originally, and the address it came from plus the url of the survey didn't help.

From: Catherine Linden Lordfly, the letter was unprofessional?? Personally, the following sentence from the email would trigger my scepticism: From: someone I'm writing to you because you're resident I know and whose opinion I value highly -- or because another Linden Lab staffer thinks just as much of you, and recommended I drop you a line. I can't recall a single spam email that hasn't contained bad spelling/grammar/sentence structure.

I got one too, and promptly trashed it. I don't like reading e-mail After seing this post I went and retrieved it from my trash can and replied to it. Didn't fill out the e-mail address, didn't feel my "content" was important enough to warrant mentioning it. 'nough said.

should be "you're a resident I know". nothing like a few hundred proof readers.
