SA invasion update...

I have had two experiences with SA Goons to date and they are both very different:

1) An SA Goon with boom box comes along whilst I am building, plays some loud music, and sticks a tall prim decorated with an image of the (exploding) Twin Towers on my land. I engage in friendly chat, the prim is removed, the music is turned off, he rates me positively (!) and then flies off.

2) Attending a raffle event, several SA Goons are present and cause constant interruptions with boom box music, shouting and generally flying around and being a nuisance. One of the SA Goons is the one that rated me in my first experience.

I am not going to draw any conclusions from this - this is merely a statement of fact.

Not all of them seem to be trouble, i've talked to some nice ones, but still some issues with some misdemeanors. Eh....oh well

as for flying around??? nah that would involve effort.

Clapping (2 P's) is appropriate at an event. Loud music/outside scripts usually isn't.

Were you asked to stop the music? Were people asked to stop the clapping?

Give it up Onei, you are trying to reason as an adult with folks who appear to be unable to reason, and are NOT adult, least not in the way they behave.

Perhaps if you took into mind the context of the posts I was referring to you might've understood. My apologies for not being crystal clear.

I was asking for a quote of anyone calling for a LINDEN orchestrated mass punishment of all SA goons. Devlin asking for info on how to ban a group of players from his personal land is in no way what so ever related to the wild claims of Bubba to which I was referring.

Hmmm. Could it be that some people coming to SL to cause problems just want us become upset and give them attention? Maybe best way to hurt them would be to quietly report their behavior to Linden and then ignore them, not giving them so much attention

Anyway, I like to give warm welcome to all people arriving from SA with good intention. I hope that is the vast majority

On this thread I also found an interesting topic surface: judging groups vs judging individuals. We had this problem in Shadowbane, it was very important there, even much more than here. So I started one thread with a few suggestions. Maybe we can discuss there, independent of the current case at hand
