While you are able in most forums like this to censor yourself at any time you are not allowed to delete the words of others. And yes, the thread lives on, you ca not expect the rest of us to simply belay our thoughts and feelings about the topic simply because you deleted your original words. No we were not 'cubing' - to the tunes of Barry White playing on the boom box. The three of us sat at my table talking. It was the comment I had made when he arrived and the further conversation about avatar body parts. Also he mentioned being offended at my photographs of the Buddha in the Japanese Tea Garden in Golden Gate Park. Which one could choose take offense at mention of this - tit for tat. Whatever. Don't know Ishtar, don't know Jon....dont much care what happened.
Green, however, I know...he's a good guy. Very intelligent and trustworthy.
As for the whole religious/gay/tolerance not-so-subcurrent behind these threads....I only have a loose (read: not exact, blut close) quote from the movie Dogma:
Ideas are better than beliefs. If a person has an idea they're open to other ideas, and can be convinced to chance them if they're dumb. Beliefs on the other hand....people are willing to die for their beliefs.
