The original post is a malicious libel disguised as an apology. The fact that a Linden has actually responded in this thread and allowed it to remain is appauling.
It is the responsibility of the property owners to manage this transaction. Bringing the name and reputation of the architect into this thread and libeling her is grossly inappropriate.
Just the facts maam!

I flew into JFK on Sept. 6th, 2001 from the middle east. I flew those same flights many, many times. I fell to my knees that day and thanked all powers greater than myself for not putting me on those flights. I don't know know why to this day I wasn't on one of those flights. The middle east is not like the US you can't pick and choose what flghts you take.
Please stop bringing serious rl things into this make believe world, its crule. More so, reguardless of your opinion or how passionate you are there is a difference between the real and the virtual.
I will never forget.

"Originally Posted by Cory Ondrejka - Aviators, Moguls, Fashionistas and Barons: Economics and Ownership in Second Life The problem is both one of perception and of fact. The reality is that the speculators are so efficient and motivated to win auctions that other residents have been largely squeezed out of the auction system. For example, over a recent 30-day period, only 5% of those residents who purchased land had purchased it from the auction system. The other 95% buy land from the land speculators.
This gives rise to the perceptual problem. Although many speculators spend time and effort subdividing the land, performing small terraforming tasks, and generally preparing to sell the subdivided parcels, most residents don’t feel that any value is added in this process and that the new land is exorbitantly expensive. In reality, the price increase is only about 10% above the auction price. More importantly, the smaller parcels are cheap enough to be purchased by a much larger percentage of the residents.Second Life recently added a “First Land” feature that greatly simplified land purchases for new users. As a result, speculators are changing their approaches to land resale. "
lets talk about that 10% over the auction price. The auction price is only as high as it is because some want a monopoly on land. That is not the price the land would go for if those who wish to buy it all up just would not bid. So the price is artificialy inflated right off the bat. Now add 10%. That isn't just a bad deal for us old timers is a bad deal for everyone.
As for Cory and his word is gold, I beg to differ. He is first a LL employee, of course he is going to support anything that makes LL more money. Damn I would fire him too if he didn't LOL.

How are things in Nuba? Did they work out or do they remain messed up by one of the biggest "legal" acts of economic terrorism known to SL?

From: Jauani Wu see! he can be funny! Who me? I'm here to make mad money. Of course, I assumed there would be a stock exchange in secondlife, which there is not. So who's the jackass? Me.
