Sorry for the Nuba nuke

I am terribly sorry for what happen today at Nuba mall. As you may have notice, the whole mall building on the land I bought and on land that Lensey still owns has gone.

Mmmm, well, I will try explain what went on.

Last night I fly through Nuba and by chance I see that land at telehub is for sale. Lensey is not online, so I just buy because I want preserve that mall there, which has been quite popular.

Soon after, I find out that the building of the mall is not owned by Lensey, but by Jillian Calahan. So I message Jillian and ask if she can transfer ownership. She tell me that she had rented the building to Lensey and that I would have to buy it. I tell her I would first want to talk with Lensey. She did not object or say anything. My plan was to ask Lensey to buy it as I really paid very high price for land and assumed building was included.

Some hours later I do some cleaning up removing prims that were not in rented booths. I also return somebody's vendor that was in some unrented place that I needed to setup something else.

Soon after I receive IM from retailers that whole mall is gone. I fly there and whole build has been deleted. I ask Jillian, the architect who had built it, what happen and she tell me she deleted it because I returned her vendor. Huh? I must have returned some of her vendor when I did cleanup. She claim there was some deal with Lensey involve her vendor and building, but nobody ever had told me. Well, whatever happen in her head, she had just deleted the whole mall without any warning

So I am very sorry this happen. I have not had chance talk with previous owner of mall yet, so some thing just happen as big surprise. I promise there will soon be new and nicer than ever building up in Nuba, using same layout so you need not change your stalls

I see. So, my telling you that you had to pay for my work wasn't acceptable. Great.
So, you banned me from your lands, neg rated me three times, called me names in IM, steal my rent on my Centerville spot by kicking me from that group, and now try and demonize me on the forums.
It's been such a thrill doing business with you.

You told me that you want money for building. So I tell you that I will talk to Lensey about who pay you. You do not object. I never told you that I would not pay you, but I told you I need talk to Lensey first.

And after somebody destroy one of my malls it is normal safety measure I try to prevent that person enter my land to cause even more trouble.

So what did I omit? Maybe you mean I should have mentioned that for past 3 months I had allowed you have vendor for free in my other mall in Periwinkle?

Honestly, it is completely beyond me how you can dare try argue here. And how all retailer and other people using that place seem completely irrelevant to you. It seem you just give one shit about everybody who has been using Nuba mall. Because you feel piss off after one vendor is (accidently) return to you you come and destroy mall without any warning. Lensey had pay rent to you, I was even going organize to have it buy from you but needed to at least talk to previous owner first. Then you come without warning and create one big mess.

I come here to say sorry to the retailers. If you had any minimum of decency you would do same instead and not start argue here.

I am sorry to those caught in the middle. But I'm tired of being taken advantage of.
I offered to pay rent on that space in Periwinkle several times, Anshe. I never thought it was quite right to get it for free.
I tried to talk this out with you in-world, too. You were just to angry to manage rational discourse. This is going to be another one of those "you sed, I sed" things. I see no point in cluttering this forum up with further drama.

How exactly have you been taken advantage of? Did Lensey not pay you rent for the building?

Hint: Don't create drama and you will not see your name mention on forum. But as it stand I think everybody should know before consider to rent/buy building from you.

Jillian was paid for building by Lensey. I am not aware that Lensey had been late with her rates.

But why I even answer to your posting? You are one of those bitter people who flame me no matter what situation is. Lol. I can only laugh how you talk about "productive for this community" while defending the person who just destroyed 100 retailers' shops. And I guess me investing 4 digit US$ amount to preserve popular shopping opportunity for people is part of "destroying community".

But don't worry. We will soon have much nicer building in place Second Life grows, content grows and we can even tolerate trolls like you

I typed like 5 different replies before I actually hit send. Some people are so destructive to SL its amazing. You never spent that money to preserve anything, you spent it because you are greedy and saw a chance at finacial gain. Im really looking forward to the day that your head is hung so low in shame that you finnaly quit. You are no asset to the SL community. I have 7 stalls at that mall. Hire one of your denizons to build a new mall immediately- or have my rent refunded. No wonder she deleted it. I wouldnt deal with you either. Come neg rate me like I know you will..

Most of the Asian business people I deal with, poor or not, don't write in stage dialect. They (mostly) have a better technical command of the English language than I do.

Fact:

Did or did all the prims built for the mall have Jillian's name on them? Yes they did. You knew and saw that in advance. Why?
You figure it out. They were never purchased by "Lensey".

What most people dont know is Jillian stepped up to bat and helped Lensey out to build her mall. There was no transfer of prims (what was built.. the mall itself and the stalls) BECAUSE ..... Jillian helped Lensey out after Lensey's SL b/f built then destroyed her mall when their relationship failed. This is a fact. The agreement was that the mall would be there LONG term and Jillian would maintain the place and get the spot in front of the hub for her hard work. Jillian did the work for two reasons.. #1. She thought Lensey was her friend and wanted to help. #2. She could get and keep a prime spot for her own vendor spot LONG TERM.

Approximately six weeks later Lensey with no notice to Jillian or ANYONE ELSE sold the mall to Anshe.

I dont know about you people but long term to me means longer than a tube of toothpaste lasts.

So... Jillian finds out AFTER the fact - the deal was done the land was sold which she would have purchased if given the opportunity.

Next? Anshe contacts Jillian. Says... transfer the prims to me I bought the mall".

Well how nice for you Anshe that you bought the land. However you didnt' buy the the work that went into the building of that solid great structure.

You've been in SL a long time and your no novice to the way land is bought and sold.

You deleted Jillians vendor spot. The original deal was between Lensey and Jillian. Jillian was entitled her prime spot for the work she had done.

You took down Jillian's vendor spot without discussing it or trying to work it out again before 24 hours had even passed.

Jillian tried to work out some kind of deal with you - instead you deleted her spot.

As the old saying goes " Dont cut off your nose to spite your face" . You did.

Enjoy rolling around in your greed Anshe. Jillian has helped many people in SL. Many.

Hi, this is Lensey. I'm currently out of town and understand by reading the forums what is going on. When I return I will deal with these issues. Right now I have RL issues i'm dealing with and limited access to the game.

Or you could actually do something about the Anshe problem, but I imagine you'd rather just have people be nice in the forums and jerks in game. Care to explain why your preferences are so?

u should have never done any deal with jillian, she stabbed me in the back before and shes nos how so just telling ppl from my experience shes very UNTRUSTWORTHY and as for starting a support group to help ppl like jillian???? are u ppl just stupid or what ,ppl like her mistreat society and are leechs anyway im open for replies to any coments in forums i would be open to comments in game but SOMEONE got me banned for 5 days anyway im open for replies.......
