I've never been able to understand the reasons behind the enormous energy, intensity, and persistence you bring to spewing hate and venom against me, which you've been doing ever since the Pahoa Jade thread, with distorted, tendentious, biased portrayal of the facts of the case, each time. I think it's a cultural matter.

The "individual" in question there is the CEO of a company and a public figure. It wasn't a personal attack, but a report about an attack on me, duh. Big difference. In fact, my peristence and publication of this matter, unlike other victims of officer recalls done for malicious reasons, is one of the reasons why the Lindens are now finally going to take out officer recall in 1.7.

There is no "lies" or "false allegations" about Nolan, trust me on that, every bit of it is true. And it continues to be investigated.

Um, there's no personal attack on you, just a faithful recording of your personal attacks on me -- hurts to have the mirror held up, eh?

Dave, I know she is your wife and the forums can get very emotional, but she sort of jumps into the frey all on her own, Prok never mentioned her name, or anything about her in this thread.

I want it clearly understood, I am not defending Prokofy. But she jumped into this thread all on her own with no provocation... for no reason other than to join in on the thread... and then you "reported [Prokofy] to the State Attorney."

I am curious, on what grounds? If anything in this thread, SHE jumped on HIM, not the other way around. *shrug* Maybe I am just missing the point.

Yeah, sure thing hon, but it was already addressed -- I believe addressed best by Neal Stewart. The "you" here is a reference to the collective you that was in this witch=hunt.

You know full well -- as does everyone reading this -- that you played a key role in that witch hunt, whatever your "lack of fingerprints" on it now.

It matters not *one whit* if you didn't set foot in IRC. Not *one whit* at all.

You started a mass campaign to solicit input about how to change the forums, encouraging and urging people to use their mute buttons. You devised all kinds of elaborate means to change the forums -- all around me, because you couldn't bear my freelyl expressed criticism of your ideas and your beliefs.

You are firmly and obviously attached to any and all shun campaigns in that regard. To say you had nothing to do with this in some kind of technical, literal, "plausible deniability" fashion is simply laughable.

Everybody can see you got your knickers in a twist because I stood up to your too-complicated idea about having slider bars for av bans -- because you couldn't face up to the fact of what most of the public wanted: banning of bounce scripts. It was *so important* to you to protect your friends at the inner core there who script that you simply couldn't entertain the notion of banning a pernicious script.

So to address that sense of outrage you felt at someone actually challenging you (that must never have happened before) you cooked up this elaborate ploy to "revise" the forums. Yet even your little friends said, no, that would be throwing the baby out with the bathwater. You were ready to create special little NPR-type enclaves, ratings systems -- everything under the sun to get rid of *one person*. That's not something you can deny -- because your sudden zeal to reform the forums didn't appear 4 weeks ago or 4 months ago, it appeared after you were challenged on your ideas, and after for the first time in your life, you had someone less than impressed with you.

Challenged on your ideas, not personally attacked.

What's so typical of the FIC -- and I say this with *full knowledge that this is a group and that I'm writing critically of it and it will be construed as an attack by biased persons*:

-- they do not realize they are privileged and constantly deny it and play it down as part of their own complicated fake altruism/vanity posturing
-- when their ideas are challenged, they rapidly translate this into a fake personal attack to posture for sympathy from forum mods and distract from the paucity of their own ideas
-- when they do wrong, they deny it -- because they don't believe they can ever do wrong
-- when they are proved to have done wrong, they vehemently argue with it
-- they cook up some other lie to perpetrate about the person who has exposed their own lies

That's how the system works.

Lie. In fact, not only did I NOT encourage people to mute you, I was one of the folks that suggested that "mute" was a totally ineffective solution to forum problems because muted posts still appeared in replies. (This is the part where you go "uh..oh ya... well it matters not *one whit*)


Lie. The changes to the forums were suggested by others and then put to vote. All I did was ask "how can we make the forums better?" and collected the suggestions.


You seem to have a problem with your repeated claim. This problem being, your word is the only supporting evidence. Perhaps if you repeat the accusation enough it will seem like truth.



The rest of this is where you become a raving lunatic. And when I say you, I of course mean passionate forum posters in general.
